St William, part of the Berkeley Group Plc, iconic and Clean Air by RESYSTEN came together in December last year to conduct a trial of the revolutionary Clean Air product and the impact it has on air quality in a construction site setting at #BroadwayEast. Air quality monitoring equipment, supplied by Ultra Protect, was installed in early December to monitor the Nitrogen Dioxide levels on site for 3 months prior to the application of Clean Air to over 100 square metres of high quality signage on site, and then further monitor the results after. Nitrogen Dioxide in the air is a key atmospheric gas generated by transport movements and traffic emissions and a pollutant closely linked to causing asthma and other respiratory conditions. The dangers of Nitrogen Dioxide in relation to pregnancy were recently publicised by Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan and further information on this can be found from the link below: https://lnkd.in/gWgx5A2c I am happy to say that the study has been a huge success and our team have been able to record a reduction of Nitrogen Dioxide in the air around the site by 16%! When you consider the below statement from the World Health Organisation, this has a major impact on employee, contractor and general public health and respiratory conditions: “Almost the entire global population (99%) breathes air that exceeds the World Health Organisation air quality limits, and threatens their health.” Molly Brydon, Senior Sustainability Advisor for St William, said: “At Berkeley Group Plc, we are expanding our established BNG approach to environmental net gain to deliver an even more valuable and holistic contribution to the environment on every site. For those who do not know, a lot of my role involves trying to position iconic so we are more than just a signage company and to become a one stop shop for our clients for any type of branding and display. This often at times puts me out of my comfort zone, somewhere I feel we should all be at times. Not only does it mean you learn to overcome various problems and adversity, but it’s for me the easiest way to grow yourself and a company. Of course there have been years of learning and experience that go into it and you must have the right people around you which is exactly what we now have here at iconic. A great example of how far iconic and I have come in regards to this, is the recent project delivered for Knight Dragon Ltd, working collaboratively with Catherine Borowski & Lee Baker from Graphic Rewilding. This project was such a rewarding project to work on, undertaking a full turnkey service for the delivery of a bespoke Miniature Golf Art Installation at Greenwich Peninsula. For the project, we provided: Full 3D render and design Working technical drawings and calculations Stage setting Custom metal framework Bespoke manufactured golf course features High quality digital printing Full flooring coverage Perimeter fencing Installation I was extremely proud of the outcome and my team in the delivery of this project, pictures of which are below for all to see including a couple showing how we got to completion. We really enjoyed delivering this project! iconic were approached to help with dressing #TheFiligree reception tunnel entrance, making it more visually appealing to visitors of the site. We used a combination of the below in order to do this, delivering a full turn key service, including survey, artwork template, production and installation: -         High quality digitally printed ACM hoarding graphics -         Stretched banners to high level windows -         Illuminated indicator signage -         Illuminated imagery The whole area was transformed and the graphics have created an inviting and professional finish to the entrance as well as assisting with wayfinding. St William, part of the Berkeley Group Plc, understand that the welfare of employees and workers visiting their sites, is of paramount importance. They approached iconic to redress their Welfare Area and Project Offices at #KingsRoadPark to create an inviting space for all those that visited as well as developing a new wayfinding strategy. Taking the original site branding, we developed designs and handled the production and installation of all signage, which included: -         Painting walls and partitions -         Creating canvas and vinyl collage walls -         Full wall graphics -         Door names -         Wayfinding panels The works were carried out during the weekend and completed in one day to avoid any disruption to important works being carried out on the site.
