Did you know we have a partnership with Glasgow Tool Library to support Dundashill residents? Every single household in the neighbourhood will be offered a membership with Glasgow Tool Library, giving them access to communal tools for DIY, gardening, upcycling, and other hobbies. This is just one example of how we go beyond the bricks and mortar to promote enriched, low-carbon lifestyles. Read more about the partnership here: https://lnkd.in/ejfKRPqq

How can we build new homes without losing the identity of the spaces we're creating? As the public and private sectors continue to look for solutions to the UK housing shortage, our chief executive, Sam Veal, has shared how a considered approach to regeneration could help solve other key societal issues while we're building homes for the future⬇️ https://lnkd.in/ejy_Xt6d Inside Housing

Last week we brought our whole team together in Manchester to reflect on the past year, and look ahead to our ambitions for the future. Guided through a brilliant workshop session led by Accelerated Change, we co-created a vision for ‘future igloo’ and the opportunities that lay ahead of us as a business and within the regen sector as a whole. Thanks also to shedkm for a tour of some of Manchester's impressive architecture, from which we came away feeling inspired and motivated. It's always fantastic to come together as a team and for igloo to benefit as a business from the same creativity and passion of our people that makes our projects so compelling. We have a huge amount to look forward to! Watch this space…

The team had a great time at the Little Green Sock Project, working with other volunteers to ensure donated items were in the correct condition to be sent to families. The organisation is on a mission to help reduce the financial burden of clothing for families in need, by reusing and gifting clothing and children's items.
Introducing team igloo Regeneration to our Little Green Sock volunteer alumni! This awesome bunch joined us for the day to help check incoming donations, ensuring the items we send to families are good quality and in full working order. Great work team! Hope to welcome you back again soon 💚 If you’ve been inspired to come and join us for a team building event then get in touch! We’d love your help! #givingback #Teamvolunteering #CSR #corporatevolunteering #teambuilding

It's always great to see our plans brought to life 🙌 Check out these shots of Trent Basin compared to our original designs. Not only do they look amazing, but our homes have delivered transformative environmental and social impact to the area. Designed in partnership with Marsh:Grochowski Architects and Sarah Wigglesworth, the neighbourhood has brought life back to the city's waterfront, generating jobs and inward investment in the area. Plus, Trent Basin is home to the largest community energy battery in Europe, providing the blueprint for future models of community generation. Find out more: https://lnkd.in/ezZyQwxK
