📣Sound on! Imagineerium for Wake The Tiger Guildhall Cafe Bar / Event Space Watch the Guildhall come to life from the design animation through to the live experience in this fantastic video created by the wonderfully talented Alex Allen (using our design animation of course). We’ve been involved with the incredible creative vision for Wake The Tiger since its very beginning, working closely with the founders on the Amazement Park’s concept phase, illustrating and visualising what the space and characters would look like, before going on to design, develop and deliver several areas of this mind-blowing immersive experience. Originally inspired by a children’s toy shop, the concept also incorporated Meridia’s four guilds of earth, water, air and fire, which is represented throughout the space with various modes of transport for each guild; 🌍 Earth: The working train which travels around the suspended train track 💦 Water: A ship themed stage, featuring a moving compass backdrop and hanging sails 🌪 Air: Hot air balloons and airships 🔥 Fire: A key element used to power hot air balloons, airships and steam trains In line with the narrative of Meridia that runs throughout the experience, which sees the inhabitants repurposing and recycling old technology, we used a lot of recycled industrial materials, all of which is hugely in keeping with Wake The Tiger's ethos of sustainability. #ImmersiveAttraction #AttractionDesign #WakeTheTiger #ExperienceDesign

When our founder Natasha attended Ideas Fest - a conference hosted in a field - it sparked a lot of questions for us. Could this really work for a professional event? Here’s what she had to say: "Most conferences feel so corporate, and even as a speaker, I’ve sometimes felt like an outsider. But holding a conference in a field? It instantly becomes more inclusive, laid-back, and a lot more fun. There’s something about being outdoors that takes away the pressure. People are more relaxed, conversations flow easily, and it’s way less about status. Plus, who wouldn’t trade a stuffy conference room for fresh air and a bit of sunshine (and a little bit of rain, it is the UK after all!)? The best part is that everything you need is on site. Not only were there talk spaces, food trucks, and trade stands in the daytime, they also hosted the StartUp Awards (where we were nominated! 🥳) and the lively Big Festoon Hoedown in the evening, meaning that there were even more opportunities for networking and making connections. I even camped nearby with other entrepreneurs after the event, finishing the day by chatting around a campfire whilst being surrounded by stunning nature. It was rejuvenating and a true break from the usual grind, but still productive. I’ll definitely be back next year."

As summer wraps up, so does festival season, and it's the perfect time to reflect on some of the standout creative concepts and designs we saw this year. Festivals are a hotbed of innovation, with organisers and creatives consistently pushing boundaries. Here's a look at some of the best new stages from this year’s events: Tomorrowland - Life Stage Known for its incredible stages, Tomorrowland in Belgium upped the ante in 2024 with the Life Stage, a 36-meter-high structure featuring waterfalls, video tiles, 230 speakers, and 40 performers. Handcrafted by in-house artists, it was a visual and auditory masterpiece. 📸 tomorrowland.com Glastonbury - Arcadia Dragonfly This year at Glastonbury, Arcadia introduced the Dragonfly, a repurposed Navy helicopter turned into a mechanical marvel. Its laser-lit wings created a dazzling spectacle across the festival site, as DJs played from its "eyes," replacing the iconic spider stage with a new level of festival innovation. 📸 mixmag.net Boomtown - Nexus Boomtown, a UK festival known for immersive theatre and outstanding creative production, wowed with the new Nexus, a mushroom-inspired stage stretching above the audience, offering a captivating central spectacle. 📸 boomtownfair.co.uk Coachella - Do-Lab Mushrooms At Coachella, LA-based Do-Lab created nine vibrant fabric mushroom shades that offered both beauty and functionality. 📸 dezeen.com Both Nexus and Do-Lab Mushrooms reflect a growing trend of incorporating mushroom themes into festival design, including the use of the material mycelium to create structures such as Glastonbury’s 6° pavilion. Burning Man - Temple of Together Burning Man's Temple of Together, stood 70 feet tall, combining Gothic arches with Lebanese weaving. Its theme of unity and humility culminated in the temple being set ablaze, symbolising the ephemeral beauty of art and community. 📸 dezeen.com Looking to blow some minds next festival season? Now’s the time to get planning, so give us a shout to let us bring your ideas to life for festival season 2025.
