We’d like to say a huge thank you to our client for supporting a local rugby club close to our hearts. Our very own Adrian Morley spent his childhood playing at Salford City Roosters and now coaches the Under-9s. In need of an upgrade to their facilities, our valued client ERIC WRIGHT CONSTRUCTION LIMITED and their partner Wernick Hire Ltd stepped up and donated a 32ft classroom and a 20ft storage unit to the club. These facilities will play a huge part in supporting young players and fostering community growth. Adrian Morley said “This is a fantastic gesture from Eric Wright and Wernick and their commitment to helping the community should be hugely recognised. The Salford Roosters club played a big part in mine and other lads' development as aspiring young rugby players. 🍎 Craig Williams really has had a colourful career. From fruit-seller, to sportswear store manager, to construction worker. Today, many young people across the country will be collecting their GCSE results. Craig, our branch manager of two years, is proof that you can have a flourishing career, regardless of your exam results. Craig didn’t get the GCSE results he was capable of. At 16, he had no idea what he wanted to do next. He enrolled on a catering course, but cooking for a profession really wasn’t Craig’s thing. He started working at the market, selling fruit and vegetables. But he soon swapped the market stall for JJB Sports. Craig worked his way up to store manager, but it wasn’t meant to be and the store closed down a few years later. However, our Craig did not lose hope! He started working on a construction site, completed his training and became a site manager until that company went into administration. He was back to square one. But Craig didn’t give up. He found himself a job in recruitment, and this is where his 17 year-recruitment career began. Now he’s a branch manager at Impact Resourcing and we couldn’t be prouder. Craig said: "At the age of 16, I had no idea what I wanted to do with my life. I’ve had plenty of roles, and each of them have taught me something different. Life doesn’t end when you get your GCSE results. In fact, it’s only just beginning." 🎉 Best of luck to everyone picking up results today. Thanks for letting us embarrass you Craig.
