Managing Director insight-recruitment.co.uk 🌐 25-years Commodity, Hedge Fund & Broker talent acquisition & retention expertise.

As we approach the end of 2024, we wanted to make you aware that Insight can provide you or your company with a Commodity industry Salary, Benefits & Retention report, for either selected individuals or Teams within your business. If it’s FREE, it can’t be as valuable as reports we would pay for ? Insight have successfully operated as a specialist Commodities recruiter for 18-years. Each year, we update a database of over 13,000 Commodity experienced Candidates based on their full salary & benefits package details. This is ‘actual, real individual salary & benefits data’ as opposed to a generic ‘broad sweep’ view provided by general salary surveys, so ’no’ it’s not as valuable … it’s better ! Why do we offer the Commodity industry Salary, Benefits & Retention reports FREE ? Quite simply, we want to build a relationship with you and Company Name and we believe we need to demonstrate our expertise and add value for FREE as part of that journey.  I’m not sure I need this information – I know my marketplace ? As we rapidly approach the end of 2024, HR Teams, Managers and of course Employees are beginning to face the commercial and diplomatic challenges of the Year-End performance review.   Get it right and you create a clear pathway for another year of growth, collaboration and employer/employee happiness, get it wrong and you face reduced engagement, a reduction in individual and team morale and very likely, resignations fueled by a ‘still booming’ UK employment market.    Insight is an independent Commodity Consultancy firm providing remuneration data and psychometric assessment of position vs. employee within the Commodity and Financial Services space.   Please reach out to confirm you would like to receive a FREE Commodity industry Salary, Benefits & Retention report.

The challenges (and potential battles) of the Year-End performance review ! As we rapidly approach the end of 2024, HR Teams, Managers and of course Employees are beginning to face the commercial and diplomatic challenges of the Year-End performance review. Get it right and you create a clear pathway for another year of growth, collaboration and employer/employee happiness, get it wrong and you face reduced engagement, a reduction in individual and team morale and very likely, resignations fuelled by a ‘still booming’ UK employment market. A major challenge faced by Employers is ensuring fairness and transparency, particularly in aligning individual performance with overall business results, which may be affected by external factors beyond the employee's control. Employers too, need to manage expectations around bonuses, especially if the company is facing financial pressures, leading to potential dissatisfaction. Subjective biases can influence performance evaluations, making it difficult to ensure consistency across teams. Communication is key, as employers must clearly articulate how performance is assessed and how bonus decisions are made, while maintaining employee morale and motivation. So, how do you ensure a positive outcome from the Year-End performance review ? Accurate market data combined with psychometric assessments can significantly help employers address challenges during year-end performance and bonus reviews. Market data ensures that compensation decisions, including bonuses, are aligned with industry standards, ensuring Employees remain financially motivated or market data can help manage expectations and reduce dissatisfaction. Psychometric assessments offer objective insights into employee behaviors, skills, and potential, minimizing unconscious bias in performance evaluations. By integrating these tools, employers can create a more transparent, data-driven approach to reviews, leading to fairer assessments, clearer communication and improved performance, morale and retention. Insight is an independent Consultancy firm providing remuneration data and psychometric assessment of position vs. employee within the Commodity and Financial Services space. Please reach out for an informal but confidential initial conversation to see how we can help you prepare for your Year-End review. tel: 0207 510 9600 www.info@insight-recruitment.co.uk
