About us
International Airlines Group is one of the world's largest airline groups with 582 aircraft flying to more than 250 destinations and carrying around 115 million passengers in 2023. Formed in January 2011, IAG is the parent company of Aer Lingus, British Airways, Iberia, Vueling and LEVEL. It is a Spanish registered company with shares traded on the London Stock Exchange and Spanish Stock Exchanges. The corporate head office for IAG is in London, UK. IAG combines leading airlines in the UK, Ireland and Spain, enabling them to enhance their presence in the aviation market while retaining their individual brands and current operations. The airlines' customers benefit from a larger combined network for both passengers and cargo, and a greater ability to invest in new products and services through improved financial robustness.

IAG statement following the Chancellor's speech on growth: We welcome the Government’s support for airport expansion and recognition of the key role it plays in driving growth, and we agree with the Chancellor that expansion must be affordable and sustainable. We also need to change the current regulatory model that has allowed Heathrow to become the most expensive airport in the world and we look forward to working with the Government, the CAA and Heathrow on fixing this for consumers.

We’ve invested in Wastefront, a company set to turn used tyres into Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF). The partnership will: ✈️ Support the construction of the UK’s largest tyre-to-fuel facility in Sunderland, creating 100+ jobs. ✈️ Turn up to 10 million used tyres into SAF every year once fully operational. Facilities like Wastefront’s are crucial to meeting the UK’s new SAF mandate, which requires at least 10% of aviation fuel to come from sustainable sources by 2030. #Aviation #Innovation #SAF #IAG #Wastefront

⏱️ We are the most punctual low cost airline in the world and we have reconfirmed our position as the most punctual airline in Europe! In 2024, 84.69% of our flights arrived on time, placing us at the top of Cirium´s ranking. To celebrate, Cirium made video about our punctuality success, and we are thrilled to share it with you all. We are very proud of this important achievement, as it recognizes the commitment and effort of our entire team, and it allows us to continue to offer a high quality service to our customers. On our flights to the Canary Islands, the on-time departure performance rate has reached 90% and on our flights to the Balearic Islands it is over 92%. ✈️ We are Express, we arrive on time
