Throwback Thursday: 3 Successful Cattle Charters to the Middle East 🛫🐄 Earlier this year, Intradco Global transported almost 500 dairy cows to a destination in the Middle East over a ten-day period, split between 3 full charter flights.  Large livestock transport projects like these are a testament to the expertise and coordination required to handle such complex operations. Each flight in this project, as is the case with all of Intradco Global’s operations, involved diligent planning and careful execution. We are excited to introduce Gabriela Astaiza Bedoya, who joined Intradco Global in April of this year. Gaby is based at our new office in Miami where she works as an Account Manager. Originally from Cali, Colombia, Gaby grew up in New York and only recently moved down south to Florida. She holds a degree in Health Sciences and Policy from Brandeis University. After spending four years working in clinical research, Gaby decided to change her career trajectory and join us at Intradco Global. Over the past few months, Gaby has been working alongside the Americas team where she adds a fresh perspective and collaborative spirit to the team. From Newmarket to the Middle East: Follow these racehorses from sale to export with Intradco Global ✨ Last month, the iconic July Sale at Tattersalls in Newmarket drew a global audience of horse sellers, buyers, breeders and shippers, including the Intradco Global team. A total of 540 horses in training were sold to an international audience and are now heading to their new homes - most by road, some by air. As the leading equine transport specialists, Intradco Global had the pleasure of flying 36 of the racehorses sold at Tattersalls to their new homes in the Middle East. Following the sale, our team of equine transport experts began the flight planning and preparation process, while our clients’ horses underwent health checks and other pre-flight procedures. The 39 thoroughbreds received the premium service they deserve with a smooth flight overseen by flying grooms ensuring their health and safety along the way. The horses arrived comfortably at their new stables, where they will soon embark on their racing careers. 🗣 Our Global Equine Product Manager, Sara Havers, who managed this flight, reflects: “I am delighted to have once again transported some wonderful thoroughbred racehorses from the UK to the Middle East for our client. Witnessing the horses being sold and meeting our clients at Tattersalls has made this shipment particularly special. Elevating equipment: An insight into our stall development 🛠 🐎 Apart from flying your animals to every corner of the world, Intradco Global has been designing and developing their very own equipment including stalls, penning and ramps since the 1990s. To ensure compatibility with evolving aircraft types, we at Intradco Global continuously adapt and innovate our equipment, adding safety and comfort features for our four-legged occupants. For example, in 1996, we brought our first-ever fully collapsible horse stall to the market. As part of our commitment to continuous innovation, we have since added safety and comfort elements such as integrated ramps and a unique flat floor, making the loading process smooth and stress free. Our team has since developed a variety of other horse stalls, cattle crates, bespoke wooden livestock crates and loading ramps and are proud to be regarded as best in class by our customers. We are currently developing a new set of next-generation HML/HMR stalls featuring a raft of ergonomic improvements that we believe will make these market leading stalls for equine welfare and comfort. The research and development process for these cutting-edge horse stalls started 4 years ago. Since then, we have designed various prototypes and conducted extensive testing, gathered feedback from the industry’s leading professional flying grooms, and distilled this into a product we believe should help push standards in equine air transportation even further. 🌟 We are excited to introduce Sergii Cherednyk 🇺🇦🇺🇲 to the Intradco Global family as our new Senior Account Manager Commercials and Operations in Miami! With 30 years of aviation experience, Sergii brings a wealth of expertise and knowledge to our team. Starting his career in 1994, Sergii has worked in a variety of aviation roles, including cargo operations supervisor, sales, business development manager and charter broker. His diverse expertise spans the entire air freight process – from sales and flight planning, to procurement and airside ground operations, making Sergii an excellent addition to the Intradco Global team. With previous experience managing live animal charter projects and other complex shipments, Sergii has joined Intradco Global to manage all aspects of live animal cargo charter and scheduled flights across the Americas. Furthermore, he will focus on driving innovative solutions and streamlining processes for a seamless commercial-to-operational transition. We are proud to share the successful transport of two high-profile dogs and their attendants to their new home in South Africa 🐶 ✈ Despite facing strict import requirements and tight entry regulations, our Intradco Global team expertly managed the complexities of this transport in close coordination with our partners at Cwm Cadno. Meticulous planning and our team’s expertise allowed us to deliver our highest level of service, making the move as stress-free and comfortable as possible for our clients, and, of course, the dogs who were closely monitored by their attendants throughout the flight. A weekend at the headquarters of horseracing! 🐎🌍 Last weekend, the Intradco Global team had the privilege of attending the Tattersalls July Sale as well as Festival Friday at the Newmarket Races – a historic fixture in the British horseracing calendar. Home to major horse racing organisations, training yards, auctioneers, and breeding centres, Newmarket is known as the headquarters of British horseracing. Our outing began at the renowned Tattersalls auction house. With a long-standing reputation for excellence in the bloodstock industry, the July Sale attracts a truly global audience of buyers, sellers, and stakeholders from across the international racing community, all looking for the next star in racing. As a global leader in equine transport, Intradco Global works with our esteemed network of dedicated shipping agents to ensure that these world-class horses are safely and comfortably transported to their new homes. Following the auction the team headed to the July course to watch some of the top sprinters from across the globe fight for victory in seven thrilling races.
