Q3 Wrap Up! Another quarter is complete, but before we look forward to the next quarter, let's remind ourselves of what we got up to during the last! ☀️ We celebrated success at our annual summer fundraiser - a great opportunity for all of our offices to come together (sporting some interesting fancy dress options), and raise some money for Target Ovarian Cancer. ✈️ Tanya Ridding and James Chippindale flew to Portugal to attend the #LSI conference, networking with some of the most influential leaders in the #medtech space. 👥 We welcomed some fantastic new starters to the team & celebrated promotions across the business. 🎥 We finalised filming a new and exciting content series with one of our top-performing consultants... keep your eyes peeled! 🏆 We celebrated our People Development Manager Jacqui Columbine who took on the Ironwoman - swimming, cycling & running to the finish line! (And putting the rest of us to shame...) 🍽️ Some of our top-performing consultants attended our quarterly Directors lunch in London, enjoying some traditional Indian cuisine at Kutir Chelsea. ☕ Our charity team held a coffee morning for our Leeds office, fundraising for Macmillan Cancer Support in aid of our Simone Taylor Fund.

This #BlackHistoryMonth in the UK we spotlight remarkable Black leaders across the globe who have broken barriers and set new standards for excellence and innovation in the field of life sciences. 🔬This week we celebrate Alice Ball. A true pioneer in life sciences, Alice was the first woman and indeed the first African-American, to earn a Master’s in Chemistry from what is now known as the University of Hawaii, back in 1915. Ball's research provided the first effective treatment for Hansen’s Disease (leprosy) which became known as the 'Ball Method.' Her ingenuity in safely injecting chaulmoogra oil changed countless lives and set a high bar for medical research.

#Healthcare #technology company, PicnicHealth unveiled a #clinical services offering that features a virtual clinic designed for patients and a virtual site targeting #lifesciences organizations. The two services aim to improve care management and stimulate more effective observational research. PicnicHealth's virtual site allows life science companies to streamline observational research by looking at a broader range of study designs with fresh data collection methods. "We've seen how difficult it is to manage complex care journeys, and have designed the virtual clinic to simplify care through a combination of expert clinical guidance and technology," Dan Drozd, MD MSc, Chief Medical Officer at PicnicHealth, said in a statement. "The virtual clinic offers a more cohesive and supportive care experience, ensuring no part of a patient's care is overlooked." Read more here: https://lnkd.in/g7KUVxBF
