The Invest in Gloucestershire Gloucestershire County Council team were delighted to host a delegation from Howard County Government Howard County Economic Development Authority Howard Community College this week. This high-profile delegation from the US’s #cyber heartland came to Cheltenham, the UK's most concentrated cyber ecosystem, to discuss opportunities for #collaboration.    There were a series of presentations in the wonderful new event space MX Hub8 in Cheltenham, including from CyNam, those working on the new Golden Valley project and a case study from Cheltenham company. In addition, there was a session on the opportunities in the US, as well overviews from the three US firms in the delegation.    The visit also included a tour of the University of Gloucestershire’s new #FuturePark - their brand-new space at Park Campus, as well as the Advanced Digital Academy at Gloucestershire College where the delegation also met some of the cyber degree apprentices.   The #inwardinvestment team were very proud to have assembled such a strong representation from across #Gloucestershire, showcasing why the county is such a magnet internationally for companies engaged in cyber security and the broader digital technologies industries.    The synergies between the two locations was very evident, with clear intent to develop strong ties and future collaborations.
