We are itsu, the leading Asian-inspired quick-service restaurant and grocery brand with over 80 restaurants across the UK, Belgium, and France, and a growing wholesale business across Europe and beyond. We’ve been serving nutritious, Asian-inspired food with respect, precision & passion since 1997. In addition to our restaurants, our itsu [grocery] team develop unique Asian-inspired dishes and ingredients for all major supermarkets across ambient, chilled & frozen. Together we are determined to keep innovating, to keep launching products, to keep opening more temples to healthier food and to keep helping each other learn and grow.     itsu are getting a This.Is.Pineapple shout-out. 🍍🍍🍍🍍 Over the last 4 reports itsu saw the highest internal progression of general managers. We spoke to Anna-Maria Tsili about what they have been up to and here are a few of their marginal gains:- 🍣 Created a clear and detailed, step by step guide of how to get to GM. 🍣 Strong internal L&D for each role that incorporates digital and classroom learning. 🍣 Focused on the act of ‘helping those who help others’ by rewarding the trainer when a trainee signed off. 🍣 Created bandings within the GM role. Not only linked to site volume, but expertise in key business areas. 🍣 Created a champions league where the ‘Best of Itsu’ gets a chunky bonus every quarter. Focused on KPIs within sales/profit/people/customers/standards. ❓Finally we asked ‘How you use the Pineapple Report?’ ‘We use the report to set our annual people KPIs and review our salaries. ‘ Thank you Anna-Maria Tsili for sharing a few examples of how you have achieved such a great result.     🎉 𝟐𝟎 𝐲𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐬 𝐚𝐭 𝐢𝐭𝐬𝐮!🎉 Sandra has been with us for 𝟐𝟎 𝐲𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐬 - from working a week of Christmas shifts as a favour for a friend to becoming our 𝐂𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐫 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐫. It all started at itsu 𝐢𝐭𝐬𝐮 𝐂𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐬𝐞𝐚 𝐢𝐧 𝟐𝟎𝟎𝟓, juggling shifts while studying 𝐀𝐧𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐲 𝐚𝐭 𝐔𝐂𝐋 [where she achieved a distinction!], what was meant to be temporary turned into two decades of passion, dedication, and unwavering care for our customers. Sandra was the first employee to ever be awarded a 𝐂𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐫 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝.
