This weekend our very own Amanda Marsh, Partner in our military team in our Personal Injury department, attended the Female Veteran's Networking event at the invitation of the Lothians Veterans Centre in Edinburgh where she had the opportunity to spend the afternoon with female veterans, hear their experiences, build valuable connections, and meet the Scottish Veterans Commissioner, Susie Hamilton. Amanda also heard from Liza Jarvis, the leader of the Female Veterans' Transformation Programme, who provided an update on the online toolkit they are developing for female veterans. 🚴♂️ Exciting News! 🚴♀️ This year, I’m thrilled to be cycling to MIPIM in Cannes with Club Peloton, all in support of a three fantastic charities! The Knight Frank Cycle to MIPIM in March 2025 aims to raise £200k for three of Club Peloton's charities: Coram: Funding adoption activity days for children to meet with approved adopters. Cyclists Fighting Cancer: Funding adapted bikes and equipment for children with cancer. Tom ap Rhys Pryce Memorial Trust: Helping disadvantaged young people in Central London. The Trust provides them with the support, skills, and confidence they need to break the cycle of disadvantage and build a better future. The journey will be challenging particularly as I keep hearing about what to expect with the weather. Previous years have suffered snow, rain, and cycling's nemesis, wind all of which we have already had in bucket loads in Manchester already this year so I should be used to it by the time we set off in March.
