The Journal of Public Affairs Education (JPAE) is dedicated to advancing teaching and learning in public affairs, which includes the fields of public policy analysis, public administration, and public management. Hosted by the Department of Politics and International Affairs, at Northern Arizona University and the School of Government & International Affairs at Kennesaw State University, the quarterly journal features peer-reviewed scholarly articles on pedagogical, curricular, and accreditation issues pertaining to public affairs education, commentaries, symposia, and book reviews. This study shows that although women are the majority of MPA students and earn doctoral degrees at similar rates as men, gender disparities in job satisfaction and retention among public administration faculty continue.
