Mechanical Design Engineer Vacancy We have an exceptional opportunity to join our company in the role of Mechanical Design Engineer. This will be a full-time job role within the design department which is suited to someone who is a problem solver and can also provider solutions to all department within the company. The Design Engineer will be working alongside the sales team, you’ll be designing different types of paint finishing equipment to suit our customer’s needs, this may be Spray Booths / High Temperature Oven / Clean Rooms / Pre-Treatments etc. Liaising with our in-house production team, you’ll be expected to produce BOM / Part Drawing / Assembly Drawing and help with any QC problems the production team may have. Once the projects have been designed and manufactured, you’ll be helping our installation team with any query they may have. This role will suit someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and wants to help different departments within the company.      The Primary Duties are as follows: • Work closely with sales team and liaise with clients to ensure they are getting the best product from Junair. • Create BOM for production / installation teams. (Preferred) • Manufacture drawings such as Parts Drawings / Assembly Drawings / Folding Drawing / Welding Drawing / installation drawings. • Create P&ID Drawing when required. (Preferred) • Help with any quality issues and provide solutions to any problems. • Using Autodesk Inventor, create accurate models and representations for clients / productions teams / installation teams.   • Product improvement / design using AutoCAD Inventor   The Candidate Requirements: • Confident user in AutoCAD Inventor • Has used Vault Professional (Preferred) • Experience in generating B.O.M.s • Sheet metal / Fabrication knowledge (Preferred) • Reporting accurate information to Team Leader on projects you are working on. • Able to work within a team but also effectively on their own whilst carrying out projects. • Able to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment. • Excellent Communication and written skills • Has at least 3 years engineering experience (Preferred)   At Junair we can offer: • A competitive salary • 23 days Holiday per annum (excluding bank holiday) • 40 hour working week (Mon-Fri) Early finish on Friday. • Opportunities for professional development and growth within the organisation Join a dynamic and expanding team looking to push the organisation forward in the market. #UKEngineeringJobs #ukjobs #MechanicalDesign #DesignJobs

We have recently collaborated with LKQ Bodyshop Division (UK & ROI) to install a 12m spray booth for a client in Colraine, featuring an elevated LEVAC floor, 6 QAD towers and isystem³ touchscreen control system with multi-loading bake profile settings.
