  • 𝐍𝐀𝐑𝐀 𝐄𝐗𝐏𝐋𝐎𝐑𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍 We’re currently integrating our completed IP surveys, modelled inversions, and drill data over Nara (hole locations pictured). We expect further interpretation of this work to identify additional drill targets. The next round of drilling stands to be an important step forward for Kav at Nara. Our recent assays provided confirmation of a gold mineralised system at the project and any future drilling will assess the potential for a large system of gold-bearing shears. The higher-grade assays at depth suggest the possible continuation of structures, while the IP data indicates potential for shallow structures under thick cover not yet found or worked by artisanal miners. Our objective now is to expand the footprint of existing deposits and test new structures to learn more about Nara’s mining potential. #KAV #Kavango #gold #Zimbabwe

  • 𝐍𝐀𝐑𝐀 – 𝐆𝐎𝐋𝐃 𝐒𝐘𝐒𝐓𝐄𝐌 𝐂𝐎𝐍𝐅𝐈𝐑𝐌𝐄𝐃 Our recent drilling has confirmed the potential for a large-scale gold-bearing system at Nara. Assays returned grades of >5g/t within quartz vein shear structures & offer evidence these structures continue at depth. The high grades and extent of the gold suggest Nara is shaping up as an underground mining opportunity for KAV to pursue. We plan to mobilise a second rig at the project later this year, with more details to follow over the coming weeks. https://lnkd.in/eEZEF8tj #KAV #Kavango #Zimbabwe #gold

  • 𝐙𝐈𝐌 𝐏𝐑𝐄𝐒𝐒 𝐂𝐎𝐕𝐄𝐑𝐀𝐆𝐄 It was great to see KAV feature in this piece from Zimbabwe’s Sunday News over the weekend. The outlook for gold remains particularly strong, with prices near all-time highs. Modern metals exploration is still relatively new in Zim. This means its vast greenstone belts stand to offer an abundance of new and under-developed gold deposits. This is something KAV was early to spot. We hope to lead the way for many other foreign firms to follow in our footsteps and invest in Zim’s economy. As our CEO Ben highlights, the opportunity is enormous for all stakeholders – from individual citizens to large companies. https://lnkd.in/ew7scJkj #KAV #Kavango #gold #Zimbabwe

  • 𝐍𝐀𝐑𝐀 - 𝐍𝐄𝐖 𝐒𝐓𝐑𝐔𝐂𝐓𝐔𝐑𝐄𝐒 This week’s Nara update was technical, and also very important. IP surveying is crucial to our first-mover advantage in Zimbabwe. Modern exploration has never been widely deployed despite Zim’s vast potential for undiscovered, large-scale gold deposits. Cutting-edge exploration technologies and methods can transform this nation’s economy It is encouraging to see our IP surveying at Nara not only identify new potentially gold-bearing structures, but also extend the scale of several existing structures under historic mines. KAV is already enjoying early exploration success at Hillside by following IP surveying with drilling. Our hope is to replicate this success with the same approach at Nara. We will integrate our IP survey results with our drilling data, once we get it. Drilling the targets this creates later in the year stands to tell us a great deal more about the scale of gold at Nara. https://lnkd.in/eu_v6a86 #KAV #Kavango #Zimbabwe #Zim #gold

  • 𝐊𝐂𝐁 𝐒𝐔𝐑𝐕𝐄𝐘𝐈𝐍𝐆 Here’s one of the IP survey lines we’re running at Karakubis. The data we're collecting tells us more about the electrical properties of the rock beneath the surface. This helps us to interpret faults, fractures, and geological structures prospective for mineralisation. At Karakubis, we're using IP surveys to further refine targets for our ongoing 5,000m drill programme, where we’re testing for large-scale copper, silver deposits. #KAV #Kavango #KCB #Botswana #copper #silver

  • 𝐇𝐈𝐋𝐋𝐒𝐈𝐃𝐄 𝐃𝐑𝐈𝐋𝐋𝐈𝐍𝐆 We’re making rapid drilling progress at Prospect 2. We’ve finished Hole BRDD002 and moved the rig straight to Hole BRDD003, which you can see in the pic. These two holes are very important for KAV. They follow up on our success with Hole BRDD001, which intercepted a 7.2m gold mineralised zone with an average grade of 9.95g/t just 35m from surface. If we can confirm our projected 162m strike extent for the zone, we’re looking at some real open pit potential. #KAV #Kavango #Zimbabwe #Gold

  • 𝐊𝐂𝐁 𝐃𝐑𝐈𝐋𝐋𝐈𝐍𝐆 KAV is drilling at Karakubis to prove the presence of a copper mineralising system. We’re doing this by targeting various potential trap sites within “fold” structures relatively close to the surface, like the one in the picture below. These features are associated with large, mineral deposits across the KCB. Our goal is to identify copper, as well as pathfinder minerals associated with copper, in our interpreted trap sites. This would provide evidence that fluids containing copper were “trapped” in these areas, possibly leading to the accumulation of deposits over very long periods of time. #KAV #Kavango #KCB #Copper

    • Sectional view of AEM Inversion image with preliminary drill targets. In this example, one hole is sited to intersect a "washout" on the northern limb of a small anticlinal fold close to the southwest plunging fold closure while the second hole targets the potential trap site in the core of the fold.
  • 𝐙𝐈𝐌 𝐃𝐑𝐈𝐋𝐋𝐈𝐍𝐆 We’ve now begun follow-up discovery drilling at Hillside Prospect 2. It’s another key milestone in a rapid period of progress for Kavango. Our drilling/surveying so far suggests Prospect 2 presents the opportunity for both long-term bulk-mining & near-term open-pit gold operations. The next 2 holes – along with ongoing IP surveying – are designed to confirm this. Our last hole (BRD001) intercepted a shallow, 7.2m gold mineralised zone within historical workings returning an average grade of 9.96g/t. We believe this zone is much larger under cover. Our next holes (BRD002 & BRD003, pictured) will follow the 162m strike extent we’ve mapped from surface (pictured) to test this. https://lnkd.in/e-NgsmCk #Kavango #Kav #Zimbabwe #gold

  • 𝐊𝐂𝐁 𝐃𝐑𝐈𝐋𝐋𝐈𝐍𝐆 We’re delighted to announce that we have begun drilling at Karakubis. We’re testing probable trap sites across 15 high priority targets to prove copper mineralising fluids passed through our ground. If we’re successful, it will be transformational for Kavango and our shareholders This is our most sophisticated drill campaign yet, and the culmination of a year and a half of work to maximise our chances of success. https://lnkd.in/erW2ct2F #KAV #Kavango #KCB #copper
