We're thrilled to share that as part of our ongoing commitment to keeping pets healthy and happy, this month we have donated over 15 tonnes of cat litter to local pet charities, including North Notts Cat Rescue, Purrs Cat Rescue in Walsall, and Feline Friends Cat Rescue. 😺 With over 3,000 bags (the equivalent to a small herd of African Elephants!) collected from our support centre in Stapleford throughout August, we're proud to contribute to the well-being of these pets as they wait to find their forever homes and support the vital work that these rescue centres do every day for cats in need.

KENNELPAK SELLS PETS & FRIENDS TO PSR TRADING LTD Kennelpak has announced the sale of its retail business, Pets & Friends, to family-owned PSR Trading Ltd (PSR), owner of retail chain Just for Pets. This strategic move allows Kennelpak to accelerate the growth of its Wholesale & Distribution division. The sale includes Pets & Friends’ 19 stores and 17 grooming salons, noted for its exceptional customer service and pet nutrition expertise, as well as its thriving online business and subscription service. Pets & Friends will continue under its existing trading name and will operate alongside Just for Pets, as PSR looks to leverage synergies between the two brands to drive investment and innovation within the independent pet trade sector. Here’s what Kennelpak Chief Executive, Claire Bayliss had to say about the sale: “Under our management, Pets & Friends has undergone a significant transformation with investment at every level, evolving from a Midlands-based retailer to a much-loved multichannel pet specialist brand with national reach. Our Wholesale & Distribution division has been the cornerstone of Kennelpak’s heritage for the past 50 years. Our aim is to strengthen its position as the trusted pet specialist, with an even greater emphasis on supporting our distributor partners’ plans for growth and continuing to deliver exceptional service for our customers. A fantastic effort from the Pets & Friends Brigg team on showcasing this important and exciting partnership.

In April, we were thrilled to be invited to the Kennelpak Retail Roadshow, in collaboration with YAKERS, one of our brand partners. It was a brilliant event and opportunity to showcase the work we do at Hearing Dogs. We met some of their wonderful colleagues, including some fantastic team members from their store franchise Pets & Friends, who will also be raising vital funds and awareness of our work, helping more deaf people to leave loneliness behind and reconnect with life.   Thank you so much to Kennelpak and all their colleagues for having us come along! 🐶

We are thrilled to announce our distributor agreement with leading US-based premium pet products manufacturer, 3TBrands, to supply two of its best-selling, ultra safety-focused brands. This new partnership will see us introduce Tall Tails and Original Territory safety focused pet products, including balls, plush and occupier toys. The range includes the award-winning Tall Tails’ ‘Gold Standard’ Yeti Plush Dog Toy, comforting Cuddle bed, Animated and Sport Dog collections and Original Territory’s squeak, fetch, tug and award-winning 2-in-1 toys.
