Nike Missed An Opportunity 😱 (In My Opinion) Here’s Why…. Marcus Rashford released his own collection with Nike… yes I know you “better believe it”🗣️ Pun intended… (You Will Get Why Later) Of course a launch like this needs a PR roll out, but instead of doing Sneaker Shopping with Complex I would of chosen to do it with Kick Game for a few reasons. 1. Kick Game connects to the football culture way more than Complex’s Sneaker Shopping even though it’s less reach. 2. Gen-Z are the customers and they have grown up with Kick Game in the last couple of years. 3. This collection is just as much about the journey as it is the collection and Kick Game would of got that more than Complex. Yesss I am fan of Complex and Nike so this is nothing personal at all. Just from a creative point, It feels more like a chase for reach and sales. Than actually connecting Marcus Rashford back to the people which will in return generate sales, but also adding to his growing legacy, and we all know people buy the story not the product. Better Believe it, should of ran deeper than just “Self-Belief” it show’s every kid, from any background, any place that yes the boy from Manny made it happen… “Better Believe It”. #sportsmarketing #football #nike #creative #creativeideas #nikefootball
