Some of our Head Office team enjoyed our 'Welly Walk' today to the lovely local Lymm Dam, in support of Clare Roberts OBE's upcoming charity trek in Cambodia with the EY Foundation. We got away with only a little bit of rain and we kept in good spirits, all for a brilliant cause. About us
Kids Planet not only provides the highest standard of nursery care and education but also a unique environment in which children are actively encouraged to explore, learn and to interact with others. Above all of this, to enjoy the world that they create for themselves in safe and purpose built surroundings. All of our nurseries have been set up to offer a multitude of childcare options that help ease the pressures of balancing the challenges of modern family life and ensure that the highest quality childcare is available. From our early morning opening times to our high standards of security, we are being recognised as a specialist group within the childcare sector throughout the UK. Everything, and we do mean everything, has been designed through the eyes of a child. Separate areas are provided for different age groups with the vibrant, exciting and stimulating colours and themes running throughout. Our nurseries are a place of wonderment, where natural curiosity is actively encouraged and young horizons expanded. Our primary focus is the children themselves. From babies to preschool, part-time or full time, they are cared for with warmth, passion, commitment and enthusiasm. Our nursery buildings benefit from the sensitive deployment of the latest technology, and every one of the team is totally committed to the care and safety of your child.

Today is International Day of the Girl and to celebrate we are supporting the 'Disruptive to Disruptor' campaign led by Girls Out Loud. The idea is for us all to recall a negative word or phrase directed at us when we were young by teachers, parents or anyone in our life, that we have now converted into one of our superpowers. Here is our CEO Clare Roberts OBE revealing how she her 'disruptive' label from school days. 👏 Two cohorts of Kids Planet staff have joined Girls out Loud's Big Sister Mentorship programme this year, supporting school girls aged 13-14 who sit in the middle of the cohort and often struggle to find their place! #IDOG2024 #girlsoutloudorg

The Training Academy has been awarded funding to deliver a unique Skills Bootcamp called ‘SEND in the Outdoors’ for existing team members to enhance and upskill their knowledge to support SEND children, delivered in partnership with Liverpool City Region Combined Authority! Gill Mason, Training Academy Director, said: “Kids Planet is passionate about investing in our teams to ensure they have the right skills to provide excellent support to our children and families. Our 10-week bootcamp, SEND in the Outdoors, delivered by the Academy across our 18 Liverpool nurseries is funded through LCR and focuses on enhancing the well-being of children with special educational needs (SEND) through outdoor experiences. The programme recognises the value of time spent in nature and is designed to equip our early years educators with the knowledge and skills to maximise the benefits of outdoor learning. Research shows that children with SEND who engage with nature often experience improvements in areas such as social interaction, communication, behaviour, emotional regulation, cognition, sensory issues, and physical activity. By developing these competencies in our educators, we aim to create a supportive, enriching environment that fosters holistic growth and development for the children and families we serve.” Skills Bootcamps –part of the Government’s Lifetime Skills Guarantee, helping everyone gain skills for life, are free, flexible courses of up to 16 weeks, giving people the opportunity to build up sector-specific skills and fast-track to an interview with an employer. #LCRSkillsBootcamps
