  • This International Women’s Day, we’re handing the pen to the incredible women of Kimpton Clocktower. This year we have decided to focus on sharing a message to their younger selves. Words of wisdom, encouragement and strength. Some believe we don’t need IWD anymore, in fact a recent Ipsos poll revealed that 38% of respondents feel that women's rights have advanced enough, but the reality tells a different story. The UK gender pay gap still stands at 8.3%! Equality isn’t just about salaries, it’s about opportunities, representation and fair treatment in every part of life. We also know change sometimes starts within our own communities. By supporting each other, we’re paving the way for future generations to step into a world where equality isn’t up for debate. Here’s to the women who inspire us every day. Let’s keep pushing forward. Together. #InternationalWomensDay #IWD2025 #KimptonClocktower #AccelarateAction

  • At Kimpton Clocktower we want every guest to leave us full of awe and wonder ✨ Thankfully, in a building like ours, that’s not too difficult! With a rich heritage that dates right back to the 19th century, we are proud to be an integral symbol of Manchester’s diverse history ✨ Our Grade-II listed building has been part of the city since the 1890’s, and our iconic 217-foot clock tower is a beloved local landmark (just ask the local photographers!). But the exterior is just the start... Step inside our magnificent glass-domed lobby to discover stunning architectural details at every turn - from exquisite stained glass windows to our stunning bronze and marble staircase. Fancy a treasure hunt? Why not take a stroll around the hotel and see how many renditions of Manchester’s iconic coat of arms you can find? 🔍 #KimptonHotels #VisitManchester #ManchesterHistory #GothicArchitecture #ListedBuilding #OriginalArchitecture

  • It’s Love Your Pet Day, and we’re all about celebrating our non-human companions 🐾 At Kimpton, all furry (and feathery, and scaly...) friends are welcome. Our only rule? They must fit in our lift! And we don’t stop there. We also offer a range of pet amenities to ensure that your special pals feel just as pampered as you do. Don’t forget to get those pet photos off your camera roll and share them with our team – we love to see all our guests enjoying their stay here in Manchester, especially the fluffy ones! ❤️ 📷 @wolversonswolfpack #Kimpton #KimptonClocktower #PetFriendly

  • Gung Hay Fat Choy from all at Kimpton Clocktower 🐉🧧🐍 Lunar New Year celebrations begin today leading into a weekend of festivities planned in the city. The city centre district will be transformed by red lanterns, music, performances and family-friendly activities throughout the two days to celebrate the official start of the Year of the Snake. One of the most-anticipated events is the dragon parade on Sunday - a huge procession featuring a stunning traditional dragon alongside acrobatic performances, dancers and drummers. The festivities across the weekend will also encompass a food market featuring snacks, street food and meals from local vendors. There will also be DJs playing Cantonese and Mandarin pop songs on Saturday night, from 8pm, whilst the Guizhou Acrobatic Troupe will be on hand to deliver awe-inspiring performances on the Sunday afternoon. • This week it’s Independent Venue Week, the UK’s annual 7-day celebration of independent music & arts venues and the people that own, run and work in them. We’ve teamed up with local landmark and music photographer Nathan Whittaker (aka Manc Wanderer) to bring you a collection of snaps from some of our favourite independent venues, all but a short walk from Kimpton Clocktower. Music runs through the veins of this city and is a big reason many flock to visit, whether that’s to see a concert or just to soak up the atmosphere in the place their favourite artists and music movements were born, raised and got their inspiration. A big appreciation to all our music venues in the city, their staff and the musicians that play in them - and of course those people who buy the tickets and keep the scene alive. #Manchester #KimptonClocktower #Kimpton #IndependentVenueWeek #IVW25
