As the construction industry evolves, the demand for sustainable, high-quality buildings is driving innovation in building techniques. Offsite construction, especially using timber frames and Structural Insulated Panels (SIPs), is leading the charge, combining efficiency with environmental responsibility. The Future of Construction: Embracing Offsite Timber Frames and Sips, is an article that explores how these methods are changing the way we build. Timber frames offer strength, flexibility, and thermal efficiency, while SIPs provide insulation and structural integrity, together creating a versatile solution for residential and commercial projects. Behind the Scenes with Bespoke Joinery We take you behind the scenes with Wrights Joinery as we explore one of our ‘off-site’ partners that supply beautiful, finished joinery to our prestigious projects. As we near the completion of a number of our client builds, the arrival of our joinery packages transform our projects into family homes and finished spaces. An exciting time for everyone involved in the project! Wrights Joinery gave us a tour of their impressive workshop and a unique opportunity to see our clients' furniture in the process of manufacture. Experiencing the detailed design process and craftsmanship behind the creation of these furniture pieces has given us a greater appreciation for the quality and professionalism at work behind the scenes. Take a moment to watch the video and see how Wrights Joinery brings these projects to life. #WrightsJoinery #KingAndDrury #BespokeJoinery #Craftsmanship #ConstructionQuality

At King and Drury Construction we know that mental health is just as important as physical safety. Working in the construction industry brings unique challenges - long hours, tight deadlines, physically demanding tasks - that can impact our well-being. Mental health is everyone’s responsibility. If you’re feeling overwhelmed or stressed, know that it’s okay to talk to a colleague or supervisor. We’re here to listen and support each other, just as we would with any safety concern on site. On this #WorldMentalHealthDay, we want to highlight the importance of mental health across all of our projects and within our teams. Here’s how we can support each other: Open Conversations: We’re here to listen and support each other, just as we would with any safety concern on site. Take Breaks: Construction work can be tough on the body and mind. Make sure you’re taking regular breaks to recharge Support from Leadership: A quick conversation with a manager or supervisor can go a long way Remember, your mental health is just as important as meeting deadlines or ensuring safety on site. Let’s build a culture of support where we all feel safe - mentally and physically. Let’s work together to break the stigma and prioritise well-being at King and Drury. #WorldMentalHealthDay #ConstructionWellbeing #SupportAtKingAndDrury

Some fantastic comments from Ryan Nolan an Architectural Designer at Cover Storey Architects who visited the lifeguard station at West Wittering Estate PLC recently. It's great to see his original sketch of an initial design coming life. #westwitteringbeach #lifeguardtower #coverstoreyarchitects #commercialconstruction #KingAndDrury #designtoreality
Exciting Progress at West Wittering Beach Project. Yesterday, I had the opportunity to visit our project site at West Wittering Beach. It was a significant moment, seeing the structure take shape and experiencing the internal spaces for the first time. Up until now, my understanding of the building was purely virtual, so witnessing it in person was incredibly rewarding. The design and spatial experience have exceeded expectations. It’s truly special to see my initial sketch (attached) coming to life. I’m very proud of how far it’s come and of the whole team who’ve clearly put as much love into this stage as I did designing it.
