The superb collection at Kate Spade offered a sartorial feast, allowing attendees to explore and enjoy the latest fashion trends👜. It was a fantastic opportunity for these remarkable women to connect, share experiences, and exchange valuable insights in a relaxed and stylish setting. Wednesday's Budget will soon be upon us. There have been heavy murmurs about Rachel Reeves increasing National Insurance contributions that employers pay. The rate currently is at 13.8%, however there could be significant repercussions to the recruitment of new staff should this rate change, along with employers having to pay NI on pension contributions, as reports have suggested.

Happy National Paralegal Day! All too often those making the cogs in the machine work seamlessly are the ones that can unfortunately get overlooked. Not just today but every day we should celebrate🎉 ALL incredible paralegals. ➡️If there is a paralegal sitting next to you now - show them just how grateful you are. 🙏 You paralegals are the marvels who do the legal research (and mountains of paperwork) that enables law firms and businesses to function successfully. Your support and hard work to the team solicitors ensures that an exceptionally high quality of service is given to clients. You are enormously depended upon, you have to get things spot on, which isn't always easy but you do, and this due to your firm grasp and knowledge on facts and the law. At Kingsley Green Recruitment we wish to thank and celebrate all you amazing paralegals and we hope you have a sensational time tonight celebrating🍾 at the Six Clerks Bar. https://lnkd.in/e7Jcyh54 #NALP

Paddington Bear was a refugee with a label. He would find that his fortune would take on many twists and turns, being orphaned in an earthquake at a very young age, eventually finding a home with his elderly but much loved Aunt Lucy that sadly was not to last, resulting in him taking a chance - a brave, solo voyage as a stowaway, from ' deepest, darkest Peru' to London. And this is where he is found, a small, lost and bewildered bear who had already gone through so much in his short life, sitting on a suitcase in Paddington Station, wearing a tag from Aunt Lucy, asking a total stranger to take a chance on him; “Please look after this bear. Thank you,” Mrs Brown took that chance. Despite the odds and a multitude of challenges, she made sure this anthropomorphic bear was cherished, loved and celebrated in his new life with her family at 32 Windsor Gardens, and who today is now even more celebrated, having been issued with an official passport of the United Kingdom. Congratulations Paddington Bear!🎉 At Kingsley Green Recruitment, we invite you to take a chance. Who knows what might happen?? https://lnkd.in/e827tqFx #takeachance #newbeginnings #paddingtonbear #michaelbond

Last week, news spread that the UK was on course for having nearly 38,000 jobs created in the infrastructure and technology sectors, after the International Investment Summit revealed there was to be a vast amount given in private investment. It appeared that these investments had rolled in post the decision taken by the new Labour government to announce a major overhaul in planning, vast AI and data centre expansion, and its promise to double the funding for renewable energy projects. This epic figure demonstrates the confidence that international businesses have in Britain as a place to invest. This is great news for our economy's growth, great news for our workers and great news for recruitment! https://lnkd.in/ecfr3rcp

Not everyone rises in the morning with a song on their lips, but we all deserve to enjoy a crack-of-dawn beverage that promotes minimally civilised behaviour for the rest of the day. Long gone are the days when tea leaves were steeped in a pre-heated porcelain pot and the mixture of Chinese and Indian leaves was deemed as decadent. Similarly, sipping a plain ol' cup of Joe, is now virtually unheard of thanks to a Seattle coffee house who skyrocketed the multitudinous array of 'cinos for our pallets. Fortunately, there is a barrage of beverages to turbocharge you, your health and your day all at once - Mushroom Tea to alleviate stress, Chicory Root Coffee to promote gut health, Electrolyte Smoothies for rehydration, Chia Tea to promote anti-ageing, Bone Broth for a hit of collagen, Hot Cacao for the all essential antioxidants, Kombucha packed with pre/probiotics, soothing Turmeric Lattes in a variety of milks, ever faithful fresh mint, rosemary, sage, lemon and ginger added to filtered boiled water and uber trendy Yerba Tea. No matter what, your first sip of the day is important, to you, and it must be got right.

As human beings, one of our deepest desires is to belong. We all want to feel seen, heard, understood and valued. Not only in our private lives but in a professional capacity as well. We are told that to have a successful, thriving and inclusive workplace we need to listen, truly listen. So, at Kingsley Green Recruitment, we invite you to do this but with one condition - get creative and curious with your questions - stock questions involving the weather and how weekends were, are forbidden. In truly thinking of unique questions, you are investing in the person you are asking and as a result, you will honestly listen to their response. Hugest thanks to the superb Petra Velzeboer for opening up our awareness to listening last week. Interesting article, link below, for all to read, on equality, diversity and the power of listening: https://lnkd.in/eXaURVvR

In a recent poll, results revealed that British workers strongly supported a right to switch off from work, thus unveiling the troubling extent to which work communications encroach on the private lives of British workers. Have the lines been blurred by the opinion that as we are all constantly "on call" due to being so ultra connected, that it is now deemed acceptable to send out WhatsApp/email messages at times that suit us, irrespective of any consideration for the recipient/s?? Equally, do we feel pressurised to reply, out of office hours/days off, for fear of not being "engaged" with our employers/fellow workers? Although the recent Employment Rights Bill didn't contain provisions for a “right to switch off” from work communications outside office hours, Labour has moved the measure to a “next steps” document that outlines the government’s ambitions for future legislation on workers’ rights. Lets just hope the next steps are remarkably sooner, rather than later, as research from countries that have implemented right to switch off legislation, such as France, suggests it leads to a better work-life balance and fewer health issues. https://lnkd.in/eu8SwRWU
