The scholarship supports aspiring solicitors from lower socio-economic backgrounds, enabling them to continue to the final stage of their #legal education and realise their #career ambitions. The successful applicant will be awarded a full #scholarship for either the LPC or SQE in September, as well as work placements and a professional mentor. Crispin Passmore, Co-Founder of Stratify, Kingsley Napley's new strategic regulatory advice service aimed at investors and leaders in the #legal sector, wrote to the Financial Times today to discuss the increase in dealmaking within the legal sector. As Crispin stated, "England and Wales leads the world right now with its approach to legal market #regulation — hence its attractiveness to foreign direct investment. "This must be why legal is one of the important sectors that the Labour government under Sir Keir Starmer hopes will turbocharge the UK economy in the months ahead." We’re very pleased to support the Edinburgh Accies Hasbeens, a group of riders who are taking part in the Doddies Grand Tour from 4-8 February The Tour is the latest charity ride organised by the My Name'5 Doddie Foundation, which raises funds for research into #MotorNeuroneDisease in memory of the legendary rugby player Doddie Weir.
