The problem is that a lot of organizations either don't know it's there, or they aren't activating it throughout the customer journey. Aside from this content being much less expensive than highly produced brand content, it also has the advantage that it is massively more credible for the consumer. People trust other people more than they trust brands, and incorporating UGC and influencer content has been proven to boost all areas of the customer journey. "Give the drowning man a liferaft" Love it!
The drowning man has no need for water! When it comes to nailing sales on your website or app, hitting the customer with the right product at the right time is key. But I see so many websites that serve the same content and the same message to every visitor, whether they arrived with intent from a paid ad or paid search, whether they are a new visitor, or whether we already know them and have good CRM and CDP data. Sometimes I even see the cardinal sin of visitors from paids ads or search being directed straight to a general homepage! There is certainly a revenue bump from tightening up your messaging, adding user generated and influencer content and improving UX, but you can go further. Personalising your offering is the next step to move the needle on add-to-carts, bounces, AOV, conversion and, ultimately, revenue. If you could personalise your content, both earned and owned, to the visitor, you could really transform your web and app strategy. So give the drowning man a life raft. #makecontentsell

As you know, Knexus is at the cutting edge when it comes to our AI tech, but did you know TikTok has just introduced groundbreaking rules to address potential deepfake concerns where AI has instead been used to generate content? Starting now, users will have the option to tag AI-created content depicting "realistic scenes," making it easier to distinguish between human-made and AI-generated content. This significant move aims to maintain transparency and trust within the TikTok community. Interestingly, ByteDance, TikTok's parent company, has already successfully implemented AI labels within the Chinese version of the app. This early adoption paves the way for a smoother worldwide implementation. TikTok isn't the only platform taking proactive steps however. Instagram and YouTube are also actively developing tools and labels to tackle the growing presence of AI-generated content. The emergence of AI tools like DALL-E and Midjourney has made this initiative crucial to maintaining the authenticity of content across social media. It's important to note that these labels are not intended to hinder the creative potential of AI but rather to serve as a deterrent for malicious actors who might use AI to create misleading or harmful content. In the age of digital innovation, it's heartening to see major social networks coming together to prioritize user safety and content authenticity.
