What's your favourite word for being drunk? As a reluctant non drinker, I don't get to personally try out many of these any more, but as a self-proclaimed word nerd, I absolutely loved this news story today, which revealed that the British have almost 550 words to describe the state of inebriation (now there's a lovely word). At KT2, we love playing with words and we are always bowled over by the power words have to sway an argument, change a tone, or deliver a message. The fact that we have a language that clearly makes it possible for us to play with quite so many options, even when it comes to something like being drunk, really makes my heart sing.
