We offer successful candidates a supportive working environment, hybrid working at least 2 days in the office per week, free parking onsite, competitive salary and bonuses (depending on the success of the company).
Due to the nature of our business and the importance of team work, you must be able to travel to the office as this is not a fully remote role.
Key Duties;
· Supporting the buying team with all buying-related activities
· Stock control management
· Collating and reviewing technical information
· Pricing and cost management
· Import/export compliance
· Raising and managing financial documentation
· Reviewing and negotiating contracts with suppliers
· Building and maintaining strong supplier relationships
· Working with new product developments sourcing new items
· Working with supply chain to investigate and resolve any issues related to material rejections or delivery problems
· Provide support for the ERP system
· Occasional travel to suppliers in the UK and EU
We are looking for someone who;
-Has 2-3 years’ experience in a purchasing role
-Highly organised and extremely attentive to detail
-Strong analytical skills with a focus on financial and commercial awareness
-Excellent negotiation and communication skills
-Proficient in ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite
-Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritises effectively
