This Remembrance Sunday, we honor all those who have sacrificed their lives while serving in the Armed Forces during the two world wars and subsequent conflicts. We will remember them.

We attended 70% fewer deliberate fires across Lancashire on Bonfire Night compared to last year! We attended: - 7 deliberate fires - 16 out of control bonfires - 2 firework incidents - 239 emergency 999 calls to Fire Control Whilst it was still a very busy night for our crews, this reduction in deliberate fires meant we could focus our efforts on real emergencies. We are grateful to everyone in Lancashire who took our safety advice and attended public events. Thank you! ❤

Firefighters from across Lancashire are encouraging everyone to dispose of their waste responsibly before Bonfire Night. Any waste materials left lying around can be used to fuel antisocial fires. Thank you for helping our crews by keeping your area clean and tidy!

Leaving waste on your property can greatly increase the risk of anti-social behaviour and arson over the Bonfire night period. Protect your business and property by clearing away waste items, removing the chance for troublemakers to cause problems.
