We had a fabulous time at the #ALFILondon24 conference yesterday hearing insights about fund structuring in Luxembourg, interactions between the CSSF and the FCA, and meeting good friends before rounding off the day attending a fantastic speech about investment opportunities in the new frontiers of the space industry. We look forward to seeing everyone again next year and hopefully in the meantime too.

Amazing to get insights from Arsène Wenger at #SuperReturns in Berlin. He was interviewed by FT sports editor David Hellier. As a founder entrepreneur of Laven Partners and Leo RegTech my take aways for success were : 1 Create an environment to perform based on the values of the club whilst moving it forward 2 Set the challenges clearly 3 Shorten crisis time 4 Look for dominant quality in people (everyone has one) 5 Just winning is not enough create an appetite for the collective expression of success 6 Talent has to be pushed 7 Listen to people 8 Create trust and a great connection with your players 9 Give people a clear picture of what success or the next level will look like So there you have it, great insights from one of the greatest and former manager of Arsenal FC! Much of that will resonate in whatever industry or at whatever level of management you work at. I find point 9 really helpful as visualizing what future success is like, as if it had already happened, has been demonstrated to bringing that result about. It certainly has worked for me personally but also for my companies.

🗓️ The new Sustainability Disclosure Requirements (SDR), which came into effect on the 31st of May, marks a significant milestone in promoting transparency and accountability in business practices across the UK. As we navigate the first week since the regulation became effective, companies are now required to disclose key environmental, social, and governance (ESG) metrics, paving the way for more sustainable and informed investment decisions. Our platform has adapted and embraced the changes, having educated our hosted clients and working towards the SDR's full implementation on the 31st July 2024.
