Our Career Stories with Katy Snell - From Books to LegalOps (Part 2) "...once upon a time, when I was a young naïve Assistant Librarian, a colleague was telling me about a ‘Knowledge Manager’ role he had heard about. I distinctly remember laughing and asking: what on earth is that?" ...and so the story begins 😎 Katy has spent over 20 years in the library and information sector. Despite common misconceptions, her true passion lies in solving problems, a key part of her role as Knowledge Systems and Information Manager. Her path started with a local library job at 16 and led to a Master in Library and Information Studies. Her career took a pivotal turn with a role at the Law Commission, introducing her to the legal sector. Katy’s story highlights that your background shouldn't deter you from a career in law or legal tech. Diverse perspectives are invaluable for problem-solving.
