After six remarkable years with Signature, our CEO, Kay Cox, will be stepping down at the end of the month. We thank Kay for her extraordinary contributions, including championing innovation and creating a culture that has made Signature a recognised leader in the sector. Kay has decided to move back to her family home in the north of England and is looking to continue her successful career in that region. We’re incredibly grateful for Kay’s significant contribution to getting Signature to this point and she parts ways with us on great terms. We wish her all the best for a new challenge in the sector. Stepping into the role of Interim CEO is our current CFO, Steve Gardner, who brings deep expertise of the organisation and a commitment to advancing our mission of delivering outstanding care, wellness, and later lifestyle. The process to appoint a new permanent CEO is underway. Signature Senior Lifestyle to build three new luxury care homes We are thrilled to share that Signature Senior Lifestyle, in partnership with Elevation, has completed debt financing and construction agreements for three new senior living communities in Greater London. Located in Enfield, Surbiton, and Hornchurch, these purpose-built sites will add 270 beds and create 330 new jobs, delivering the exceptional standard Signature is known for. Designed with sustainability and longevity in mind, these communities will reflect the exceptional standard of our existing homes and contribute to our ESG strategy. All three developments will target an EPC rating of A and a BREEAM New Construction rating of Very Good. Key sustainability features include solar panels, air source heat pumps, and energy-efficient technologies. Additionally, large outdoor spaces will foster biodiversity and promote the wellbeing of residents and team members. Kay Cox, CEO of Signature Senior Lifestyle, added, "The Signature brand is synonymous with exceptional later living and care. Our most recent home, Signature at Highgate, was named Knight Frank’s Luxury Care Home of the Year. The signage is going up at our new build Point A Hotels project which can only mean one thing - we’re close to completion! Morrison Design are the appointed architects for the 95-bedroom hotel is in the Liberties area of Dublin and encompasses guest bedrooms, reception, breakfast lounge and bar. The hotel follows the successful opening of a 141 bedroom new build hotel on Parnell Street in 2021. We completed a two storey roof extension on the hotel early last year, taking the capacity to 174 guest bedrooms. We’re delighted to be collaborating with Sheahan & Collins Construction Ltd. (Contractors), O'Connor Sutton Cronin (Structural Engineers), Building Services Solutions (M&E Consultant), Leisure Concepts Design Concepts Ltd (Interior Design) and Virtus (Project Managers and Quantity Surveyors). #hotelarchitects #architects #hospitalityarchitects
