📣 Warm Homes: Social Housing Fund Wave 3 announced 📣 The latest wave of #funding to deliver energy efficiency upgrades to local authorities and social housing providers has been announced today. The Warm Homes: Social Housing Fund Wave 3 allocates £1.29bn to retrofit social homes across 144 projects including 17 strategic partnership projects and 127 challenge fund projects. The funding allocation further builds on the provisions made under the previous waves of SHDF and is expected to support up to 170,000 households in England lower energy bills and improve their #homes with the aim of positively impacting vulnerable members of local #communities. 📣 Our Repairs and Maintenance DPS is now open 📣 LHCPG are pleased to announce that one of our most recent Dynamic Purchasing Systems is now open to applications. The Repairs and Maintenance DPS is for the provision of repair, disrepair, maintenance and replacement works to building fabric, equipment and the building environment. The DPS will cover the following workstreams: Workstream 1 – Building envelope, structure, internal environment, and openings Workstream 2 - M&E and associated plant and services Workstream 3 - Environmental and Infestation  Workstream 4 - Multi-Disciplinary works As an open market solution, a DPS provides a flexible option for suppliers to join with no application time limit or maximum number of suppliers. Clients have access to a wide number of pre-qualified suppliers and have the ability to use their own T&C’s, pricing and specification. 📰 Social value and the Procurement Act 📰 It is a requirement for all public sector organisations, and their suppliers to consider social value in their operations and look beyond the financial costs to improve the #economic, #social and #environmental wellbeing of individuals and #communities. As part of the Procurement Act 2023, which went live last week, contracting authorities must also follow measures that prioritise public benefit and evaluate suppliers based on their potential social impact contributions. Our Energy Efficiency and Renewable Technology (EERT) DPS will cover inspection, #repair and replacement of #energyefficient measures and #renewable technology installations and will run in conjunction, although separate, from our N9 framework.
