Are you considering adding a new channel to your sales mix? With Black Friday nearly upon us, we wanted to provide some insight into why more brands are looking to sell direct-to-consumer. Considering whether to take the leap? Here are just a few of the benefits brands can see: 🔷 Greater control over the purchasing journey—selling D2C enables you to sell and market directly to your customer, giving you greater control over the purchasing journey and all-important re-purchasing. With customers expecting a more personalised experience, selling D2C can help you gather more first-party data to serve the right information to your customers at the right time. 🔷 Creating a loyal customer base you own—with consumer purchase patterns heading towards more of a subscription-based model—of UK adults, 79% are signed up for at least one subscription service. Selling D2C can offer more flexible sales options for your customers. This can give your business greater revenue streams while also offering more purchase options to your customers. About us
We’re Linney. A sixth generation, world-class, multichannel marketing services group. We drive innovation and change for our clients through insight, creativity, technology and delivery. How we make it work: We Evaluate. We cut subjectivity and make marketing work, combining traditional market research with academic thinking and technological innovation to offer new and informed perspectives that challenge, inspire and improve. Our consumer insights and strategic foresight inform everything we do. And our pragmatic approach, working closely with designers and developers, ensures it’s relevant, practical and delivers what’s needed. We Create. The creative process and bright ideas are the essence of what we do. Our creative teams work in digital and conventional design, and anywhere brands and messages are experienced - including screens, paper and spaces. As our digital world grows and channels to market fragment, it’s here where the idea begins. We Make. We have a deep history of manufacturing: pushing limits and boundaries technically, finding efficiencies and better ways constantly. We not only offer multi-format, digital and litho printing, but combine them with permanent and semi-permanent POS, automated artworking and smart workflow systems - a unique offer in a space that's changing fast. We Activate. We help B2C and B2B brands grow online and offline – from storing, collating and distributing POS for major retailers to assisting ecommerce brands to delight their customers. Our logistics, co-packing and return management systems – alongside our dedicated call centre service – enable us to go further for the brands we work with. "We've grown our family business from a single Victorian bookshop to an international multi-channel marketing group. Change is at the heart of our culture: it's who we are and what we do." Christmas 2024 is underway at Boots UK We’re delighted to be bringing some sustainable sparkle to Boots’ Christmas in-store displays this year, helping customers find the stores’ festive areas and bringing some welcome seasonal glamour. Get ready to be enticed by elegant Christmas trees, golden-hanging baubles and beautiful wreaths that fill you with festive cheer. Wanting to achieve a premium look that was easy to transport and implement in store and that could also be recycled at the end of the festive period was no mean feat. The cardboard engineers in our Display team created celebratory displays, using premium print finishes to elevate them and ensure they look their best throughout the festive period. #SeasonalDisplay #ChristmasCampaigns #RetailMarketing #SustainableChristmas

33,000 decisions are made by consumers every day. Understanding what shapes those choices means focusing our insights on three key stages: 🔷 The innovation and benchmarking stage involves understanding the environment in which consumers make their choices. 🔷 The behavioural science stage is about observing and understanding the decisions as they happen. 🔷 The analytics and experimentation stage involves replicating the environments in which choices are made and trying different things to drive behaviour change. Our Insight team provides the tools to help brands navigate consumer choices, particularly during peak shopping seasons like Black Friday. Be one step ahead of your consumers this Black Friday: https://bit.ly/3Ynr7bx #MarketingTrends #MarketingInsights #BlackFriday #GoldenQuarter

Great to see this project come to life, Mansfield Building Society!
We are thrilled to be collaborating with a stalwart of Mansfield today, with a technical team from Linney on site in our Mansfield branch, installing digital display screens. As a modern Mutual, we were keen to not only reduce poster waste, but introduce new technology into the branch that allows us to update messaging at the click of a button, keeping both current and prospective Members fully up to date with what we have to offer.

A competitive climate at the Boots UK Sustainability Pavilion! We had a fantastic day at Boots for their annual Recycling Week event alongside POPAI UK & Ireland! Our Regenerate team created a display highlighting the ease and importance of recycling in everyday life, adding gamification to the stand for some interactivity. It was great fun to see everyone rushing to sort through our pile of rubbish and establish where the items could be recycled against the clock—it got pretty competitive! Along with all the excitement and meeting new faces, it was great to support Boots in sharing their message on recycling, and hopefully, there’s something for everyone to share back with their teams! #Recycling #Sustainability
