We provide support services for disabled people, people with long-term health conditions, and Deaf people (BSL users).
About us
Living Options Devon is a registered charity (number 1102489) working across the South West to ensure that people with disabilities and Deaf people (who use British Sign Language (BSL)) can live the lives they choose. We are user-led, enabling disabled people to influence and manage projects to become equal members of society. The charity was set up in 1990, 80% of our Trustees and volunteers and over 50% of our staff have disabilities or are Deaf. Being led and run by disabled and Deaf people ensures we have first-hand understanding of the issues facing disabled and Deaf people and are well placed to influence and address these issues. As well as providing a range of services for people with disabilities and Deaf people, we also train other organisations on disability and accessibility issues.
