We’re seeking two aspiring solicitors to join our unique Legal Trainee Wordings Scheme in March 2025. We want to hear from you if you have already passed your LPC/SQE or expect to do so by February 2025. Completion of this two-year training contract, which will include a number of outplacements with Lloyd’s insurers and a law firm, will qualify you as a solicitor equipped with the skills needed in the London insurance market. Graduates of the scheme have successfully gone on to secure positions as in-house lawyers within the Lloyd’s market. During the training contract, you will gain a strong understanding of insurance contracts and wordings for products sold in the Lloyd’s market, and you will benefit from face-to-face training by insurance market experts. You will also gain experience on secondments to a number of Lloyd’s insurers and a law firm. Due to a heightened market demand existing for wordings skills that you will acquire through our programme, you will be expertly prepared for a wordings role within the insurance industry, whilst working towards qualifying as a solicitor.
