    I’m so so proud of Sult™ ‘s first month. I haven’t yet shared on LinkedIn what Henry Porpora and I are building, but let’s just say life has been moving 100mph! Sult™ is going to be the top UK hydration brand. It’s not like your usual, and we’ve already proven that last week when we got a billboard…within an hour…with ourselves and BrewDog founder James Watt on a unicorn. Without context it looks very peculiar, but Henry and I had 1 minute to pitch our elevated hydration brand for House of Unicorns show, and we thought…how can we be memorable? How can we show not only what type of brand this is, but what sort of people we are? We need a fire breathing unicorn on a billboard. As part of this we invited our community to help us out and get James to see our billboard before we pitched at 6pm. That left us 1 hour to get the billboard, film the content, edit and upload it in time. Usually people would think that’s ridiculous, but we made it happen! A big shout out to London Lites This is just the first month of Sult™. We haven’t even launched with our product yet, so we cannot wait to continue this super exciting journey and take hydration to the next level. We’re just 2 sulty people🧂

    Hydration brand Sult™ just did something GENIUS. They were pitching to investor James Watt, founder of BrewDog. But there was one problem; they only had 60 seconds. And dozens of brands were also going to compete for James’ attention. Sult wanted to stand out. And stand out is exactly what they did: 1/ They designed a billboard. 2/ Called on their contacts at London Lites (billboard company). 3/ Pushed for a digital billboard to go up outside Brewdog’s office in 45 minutes. And then posted about it on their socials, encouraging their audience to tag James. In 10 minutes, he saw the video and followed the brand on Insta. At the pitch, less than two hours later (before the founders could say a word), James said: “You guys are Sult” Great reminder that smaller, emerging brands can always use creative strategies and sheer persistence to compete with the big players in the FMCG space. Real, unfiltered and social-first - capturing the interest and support of their audience (fans!) and James Watt. Well done Henry Porpora, Milly G. and team 👏🏻

    I’ve been building my brand Sult in public across social media... Last night we had the opportunity to pitch to James Watt - the problem was, so did 50+ others. And we had 1 minute to pitch… I knew 99% of these pitches would be boring and forgettable (sorry but it’s true) - I needed to be the 1% who was remembered. So… We got a billboard outside his BrewDog Waterloo office. Here’s a run down. 11am - Idea - We started editing the graphic we wanted. (Yes your eyes are right, that is the Sult team and James riding a fire breathing unicorn).   3pm - Called London Lites Long shot but I knew these guys love being super reactive and want to help out start ups. 4pm - billboard went live 5pm - edited our video in Pret and posted requesting everyone tags him so he see’s it. 5:10pm - James had seen the reel and followed us on insta 7:05 - I sat down to pitch to James and without saying anything… “You guys are Sult”. Job, done. Thank you so much London Lites - being a tiny brand, this was never going to be easy. It’s the ongoing conflict with battling the big dog brands but you made this possible Mike English Olivia Milne 🤝
