FTA is a non-profit organisation founded in 2018 that provides financial support, guidance & mentorship to emerging designers from across the MENA & functions as a talent aggregator for Arab designers to grow on an international stage. Luxury Promise is proud to showcase some of the most iconic & sought after vintage pieces in the first-of-its-kind luxury accessories resale experience at Harrods. This partnership is testament to the brand value that Luxury Promise has fostered in the resale industry & will allow us to do what we love, share our love for handbags & accessories with a new audience at Harrods in support of Fashion Arabia Trust. For every product sold at Harrods, a portion of the proceeds will be donated to the FTA. Luxury Promise is proud to have multiple industry experts amongst its team, but is also keen to collaborate with and support independent female specialists in our ongoing quest to create a pre-loved platform of knowledgeable collectors and enthusiasts. Rachael has previously written books on Cartier and Tiffany & Co. and is an active journalist and spokeswoman for the jewellery industry. To diversify the offerings, Rachael was joined by James Harris FBHI, a former lecturer on Horology and museum conservator, who gave live demonstrations on watchmaking.
