Weekend 33 Works Delivery Track North (Preston) continued the Track Renewals project works at Blackburn Station The Core works consisted installing a new F Switch new plain line panels on the turn out to the BBB line and also installation of new associated plain on the approach to 774 toes and from the heel, we also removed breather switches on the plain ready for the CWR conversion at the end of renewals this weekend was a a big job for our little team and every shift and the works completed on time in the planned disruptive access with the assistance of our internal Delivery Teams (WD S&T and Track Delivery Teams) SWGR,Story Plant, SEP Rail Services, Torrent Trackside Limited, SB Rail, MacRail, Haigh Rail, Macginleys

Weekend 32 Works Delivery Track North (Preston)continued the Track Renewals project works at Blackburn Station The Core works consisted of 400yd Cat 11 renewal through platform 4 at Blackburn station this site had it's challenges due to having 2 subways to get over that had fixed longitudinal timbers and tight clearance with 6ft drain through out the site.All works completed on time in the planned disruptive access with the assistance of our internal Delivery Teams (WD S&T and Track Delivery Teams) Story Plant, SEP Rail Services, Torrent Trackside Limited, SB Rail, MacRail, Haigh Rail, Macginleys
