This is exciting new for our client The Lost Gardens of Heligan 🙌 I’m going for it, I’d say the first gardens in the UK👍 and potentially in the world🧐 to become a #bcorp. After joining the B | 23 programme last year it’s been great to see Laura Smit Chesterfield behind the scenes to push to get this overline. Enjoyed presenting to the team about B Corp back in Feb and now they can celebrate joining the movement.

  • Big up to the lovely people over at Tilda® | B Corp! We’ve been working alongside the team helping them communicate their amazing positive impact work. It’s really inspiring watching them set a new standard within their industry, walking the talk when it comes to sustainability for people and planet — from paddy to plate. Leap has supported Tilda with defining their renewed ambition and purpose internally and externally. We've also produced communication materials like the video below to help them share their stories with their community of customers, peers, and team members. Watch this space for more and a full case study coming soon!

From responsibly sourcing ingredients to serving communities, we’re embracing better ways to do business by making tasty products while creating a thriving future for all. Since 2021, we’ve been measuring and reporting our impact and last year we became a certified B Corporation. • Great to reconnect with Ralph Chami and Dinah Nieburg at the Blue Earth Summit 🌊 Back in March, the Blue Green Future team celebrated as communities in New Zealand, Tahiti, and the Cook Islands took a bold step by declaring personhood for whales — a milestone in recognising the rights and value of marine life. Earlier this year, we worked with their team to help showcase their efforts through image, video, and copy, highlighting their work bringing together conservation, finance, indigenous stewardship, and legal frameworks to make the importance and value of living nature visible. We were also excited to help get Ralph over to share his insights at the summit, both on the main stage and during Matt Hocking and Charlotte Sewell ⚡🔶🌿’s #UncomfortableConversations series, which helped bring important dialogues about nature’s value to the forefront. #BES24 #BlueEarthSummmit #ForTheOcean

E Waste Day - Call to action for our friend here in the South West E-Waste is a global issue but also one which affects us all, with 62 billion kg of e-waste generated globally in 2022, according to the latest UN figures.   I truly believe that businesses can lead the way in creating meaningful change, and that change can start right here in our own region. And it’s for this reason that my team here at Wildanet launched KIT|24 earlier this year—an initiative to help home or recycle unused IT equipment from organisations across Cornwall and Devon.   By working together, not only can we help to protect our environment by reducing the volume of electrical waste going into landfill, but we can also re-home devices through a network of charities and community organisations, and give the gift of digital connectivity to those unable to afford their own devices, helping to erode digital exclusion in our region. Please support us and get in touch! you can donate their devices https://lnkd.in/eVnJtTHB

My #Goodfest24 Takeouts: 🧘♀️ Qigong in the meadow: A refreshing ritual that breaks the keynote mold, grounding and resetting the mind. Thankyou Mark Shayler 🪸 Hugo Tagholm ocean meditation: His soothing delivery and passion for the sea feels like a spoken-word meditation. 🪧 Local focus, global resonance: ✌️John Brown and Lisa Telfer Brunton's talk on Cornwall’s issues anchored the festival in real, local change. 🕺 Matt Hocking's lone dancer: A spontaneous burst of energy that shifted the mood and kept things playful. 🧓 👵 Generations’ wisdom: David Harland metaphor of ancestral hands on our shoulders stirred deep reflection on legacy and progress. 📺 Virtual inspiration, no flights needed: Kalpana Arias’s virtual keynote from Climate Week showed that you don’t need to be in New York to feel the energy of global action—her message transcended distance, making climate activism accessible from anywhere but even better being closer to nature.  💚 Clover Hogan gut punch: Her candid story of lost childhood innocence to climate activism left the crowd speechless and deeply moved. 🪨 📜 ✂️ Energised through play: Dr. Carlos Saba’ rock-paper-scissors game recharged the crowd, proving that fun fuels engagement. 🥗 The power of local food: Bedruthan and Naughty Nonna’s reminded us that locally-sourced, thoughtfully-prepared food can nourish not just the body but also the soul, fueling inspiration and connection.   Finally 🌄 Nature’s embrace: 🌊 Being in North Cornwall, surrounded by its rugged coastline and wild landscapes, running into the sea at the end of day one amplified the festival’s connection to nature and deepened our sense of purpose. 😎 Thank you Leap | B Corp Design & Impact Agency Bull & Wolf | B Corp thanks for capturing the magic

  • What. A. Ride. The Leap team spent a couple of days at this year’s GOODFEST CIC back at the beautiful Bedruthan Hotel & Spa, Mawgan Porth exploring how to dream BIG and turn those dreams into action. It was two days of recharging the creative and change-making batteries, connecting with the most kind and interesting minds about, nourishing souls and bodies, touching base with each other and nature — and SO MUCH LEARNING. The amount of brilliant stuff at Goodfest this year, you’d have thought we were there a full week. 🌊 Hugo Tagholm took us on a saltwater journey. From his class coming on a school trip to visit his childhood bedroom seashell exhibit, to harnessing Minimal Viable Influence as a growing organisation, moving from activism to delivery, daring to dream bigger with Oceana, and winning and failing together as a team. 🕺 Our own Matt Hocking reminded us that ‘the antidote is love in action’. ✌️ ✌️John Brown and Lisa Telfer Brunton talked local solutions and meeting people’s basic needs first and foremost. “If you want to lift the ceiling, you have to lift the floor with it”. We all love to have a whinge, but then it’s time to take action — be a participative citizen. Find out about consultations going through your local council and get involved. 🌴 Formidable host and Goodfest guide Gillian Burke questioned if we are getting through to the right people and reminded us of the value of human-to-human and face-to-face contact. She took us through a personal family tour sharing the names and faces, hopes and dreams of people we might never meet but that share our reality on this planet. 🖍️ Goodfest attendees took part in 12 different workshops around this year’s theme Dream Big, Act Now diving into topics like diversity vs. inclusion, mindset gymnastics, moving past limiting beliefs, growing our impact, finding out what ‘enough’ means for us and so much more! 🌱 Kalpana Arias connected through a virtual wormhole to speak directly from Climate Week NYC on her work at the intersection where nature and gardening meets tech. She reminded us that the “climate crisis is also a crisis of imagination” and world-building and gamification can be used as a tool to identify opportunities. Kalpana urged us to fall in love with the problem and not the solutions and spoke about the exclusiveness that exists in the UK gardening sphere. 📢 Last but abso-frickin-lutely not least, we heard the one and only Clover Hogan as the closing speaker of Goodfest 24 talking about the very real effects of climate anxiety and activism burn-out. Clover candidly shared her own lived experience as a young person taking on the powers that be. She dropped truth bomb after truth bomb without shying away from openly addressing the ‘comfortable action’ many businesses engage in under the banner of climate initiatives. Thank you so much to everyone who made it special. Check out the team's highlights coming up tomorrow! #GF24 #GoodfestCornwall #Goodfest #Goodfest24

  • It’s time to lead It’s time to unite It’s time to speed up It’s time to invest It’s time to break barriers It’s time to act #ItsTime Leaders from the world of business, tech, politics, academia, and civil society including Leap clients Volans and Capitals Coalition are gathered in New York for the biggest annual climate event of its kind — #ClimateWeekNYC. The idea is to join the forces of inspiring frontrunners that have the means, the scale and the power to drive the transition forward and turn those who are not yet going fast enough into action takers. Best of luck to Capitals Coalition who are launching their new beta Framework for Integrated Decision-making. We’re very proud to have played a small part in bringing this systems-changing resource to life with visual design and direction. Seeing the work that Capitals Coalition are bringing into the world makes us feel genuinely hopeful. If you’re in New York (or own a device with internet access) also be sure to catch Volans' live book club session with Carine de Meyere on Wednesday 25th. Keen to see what actions will sprout from all of this year’s events.
