We're delighted to announce that Magentus has been chosen to deliver a unified Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) for five pathology laboratories across the Cheshire and Merseyside region. Laboratories will be able to securely share test results across the region, regardless of where testing was conducted. This move will benefit patients by improving access to pathology services and providing quicker test results. The new LIMS will support about 2,000 staff, delivering up to 53 million pathology tests annually to a population of 2.7 million people. We are delighted to announce Magentus | EMEA Managing Director Maddy Phipps-Taylor has been appointed to the executive committee of AXREM, the association representing suppliers of diagnostic medical imaging, radiotherapy, healthcare IT and care equipment in the UK. AXREM members supply the majority of diagnostic medical imaging and radiotherapy equipment installed in UK hospitals, working side by side with radiologists, radiographers practitioners, oncologists and a wide range of healthcare professionals in delivering healthcare to patients with the help of our technologies. Sally Edgington, AXREM chief executive, said: “Magentus have been valued members of AXREM for a few years now, so I am really pleased they have increased their membership and will also be joining our Executive committee.
