Which Environmental Accreditation Scheme is Right for Your Business? With climate change a pressing global issue, businesses must take action—not just for the planet but for resilience, reputation, and competitive advantage. Accreditation schemes can help organisations measure, manage, and reduce their environmental impact in a structured way. But with so many options, which one is right for you? Here are some recognised schemes: ✅ ISO 14001 – A globally recognised environmental management standard. ✅ Carbon Trust Standard – Helps businesses measure and reduce carbon emissions. ✅ B Corp Certification – Assesses environmental and social impact. ✅ EMAS – A voluntary EU scheme for improving environmental performance. At Carbon Sense, we help organisations navigate these options, measure their carbon footprint, and take meaningful steps toward net zero. Want to get started? Contact us. https://lnkd.in/eN4BD4Ah

Partnering with Cornish Mutual on Their Net Zero Journey Carbon Sense had the pleasure of working with Cornish Mutual, the South West’s leading provider of farming and rural insurance, as they progress toward their goal of carbon neutrality by 2030. Cornish Mutual needed support to accurately measure their Scope 1 and 2 emissions. This data was crucial to meet stakeholder obligations and offset emissions locally with Plant One, a CIC focused on tree planting in Cornwall and Devon. We helped: ✅ Accurately capture emissions data using bespoke templates and carbon accounting software. ✅ Embed carbon accounting into daily operations for regular reporting. ✅ Deliver a detailed baseline report and a compliant carbon reduction plan. This partnership ensures Cornish Mutual can confidently monitor and reduce their emissions while supporting local reforestation efforts.
