More national coverage for yet another incredible member of our MAN v FAT community! Stuart has changed his life with our Gillingham club, which has nearly 140 men participating each week - some achievement by Stuart and his club mates 👏🏻
Brilliant to see Stuart, a member of our client MAN v FAT's Gillingham club sharing his weight loss journey with one of the UK's most influential news titles, MailOnline, in a piece placed by the Astute team. At his heaviest, Stuart said he did not want to leave the house, however a combination of adopting a more healthy diet and weekly football sessions at MAN v FAT, has helped him feel like he can enjoy life. Our MAN v FAT Yeovil lads are fundraising powerhouses! Last year, they topped the table nationally for the Diabetes UK One Million Step Challenge and now they’ve raised £1,400 for another amazing cause.
We want to say a huge thank you to 20 men from MAN v FAT Yeovil who walked a marathon raising funds for MenWalkTalk. They raised an incredible £1400! Thank you so much to Aaron and the team for their amazing fundraising! 🥳👏🏼 Are you up for joining #TeamMenWalkTalk and taking on a fundraising challenge? Email us to request your fundraising pack: hello@menwalktalk.co.uk 🙌🏻

There are some incredible stories from within our MAN v FAT community - and not only just about weight loss. Chris' personal transformation had huge mental health benefits and he spoke openly in a recent piece in the Liverpool Echo. Take a read!
I’m proud to share Chris Amos' incredible journey. Another player in the MAN v FAT North Region, Chris faced serious struggles with his weight and mental health, and made the courageous decision to transform his life. Losing over 5 stone and finding a new love for football, he's now thriving—healthier, more active, and able to spend quality time with his kids. It’s stories like Chris’ that remind me why this work is so meaningful. https://lnkd.in/eFQYhmcp #MentalHealthMatters #Transformation #MANvFAT #FootballCommunity #HealthyLiving #Wellbeing #SupportNetwork #GiveFatTheRedCard

We are very fortunate to have some excellent podcasts who cover the world of MAN v FAT and the lads from The Football Drop spoke to our Head of MAN v FAT, Richard Crick for the latest from HQ!
As it's the football international break, we recorded another FDP Special where we were lucky to get back in touch with the legend that is Richard Crick to discuss all things MAN v FAT, and our personal progress after our first season from The Football Drop with Will Salisbury. MvF are doing some fantastic things, with a launch in the US, and the launch of MvF Rugby to name a few! Richard shares some great stats and insights and some stories from some of the club members who, through Man V Fat, have not only improved their physical health but their mental health has been improved incomprehensibly. Check it out on Spotify: https://lnkd.in/eWQDSvXG #podcast #football #mensmentalhealth #weightloss

A busy week for our Head of MAN v FAT, Richard! MAN v FAT acts as a gateway back into regular sports participation, so we are delighted to be invited to days such as these.
This week I was invited to attend The Football Associations new Grassroots Football Strategy launch at Wembley Stadium (and watch 🏴 v 🇬🇷). It was great to bring together life the progress that’s been made, and to hear the acknowledgement and passion for more to be done across so many facets of the game. I particularly enjoyed the bringing together of charitable, community and commercial partners to discuss the direction of English football in the next four years. I got to finish the week at Swindon MAN v FAT with Siobhan Birbeck, catching up with Paul S. from our mental health partners JAAQ. We discussed together and with players how we continue to support our MAN v FAT Community. Swindon is a fantastic club, with some amazing people who look out for each other and support each others. Also shoutout to Coach Bonnie and Assistant Coach Ben who are clearly admired by the lads.

Our MAN v FAT Rugby clubs have got off to a flying start and we’ve seen some fantastic weight loss across our three locations in the first five weeks! Keep an eye out for a special feature on the story so far - coming up later this year 👏🏻
I had the pleasure of visiting the MAN v FAT Cheltenham rugby club last night for the first time since we launched last month. This coincided with an appearance from a professional photographer and a writer from a very well known rugby publication (watch this space!) I had to share some photos of the guys in action! They’ve smashed the first 5 weeks, with the 27 members losing around 80kg. Keep up the good work Nick Jackson

Not only are they our 11-a-side national champions, our MAN v FAT Preston lads are pretty handy on the scales too! Peter has shifted nearly 40kg since starting with MAN v FAT and his story appeared in the Daily Express at the weekend. Take a read in Elle's post below.
After joining our MAN v FAT Football club in Preston, Peter went from 147kg to 109kg by integrating regular football into his routine and prioritizing his health for his upcoming wedding. With the support of his team and a focus on balanced eating and regular exercise, Peter transformed both his body and mindset. If you're looking for motivation to make a change, his journey is a testament to commitment and community! ⚽💪 #WeightLossJourney #FitnessGoals #MANvFAT #HealthyLiving #GiveFatTheRedCard #Transformation #FootballFitness #StayActive #HealthAndWellness https://lnkd.in/eq8v_74E
