It’s with great sadness that we have to announce that MARK Product has ceased trading as of 25th October. It has been an incredible journey over 16 years and we have been privileged to work with some amazing people over that time, and delivered many projects and products we are very proud of. Heartfelt thanks to our valued team, our network of suppliers and our valued clients for all the support that has been shown to MARK over the years. We’re so sad to have to say goodbye to all the hard work and good relationships that we’ve built up over the years. The closure affects many directly and indirectly: staff and their families, suppliers and customers therefore our focus in this moment is working with the liquidators to manage the impact on individuals as much as we can. Our passion for what we were striving to achieve through MARK remains - we set high standards for ourselves particularly in regards to both social and environmental sustainability. We know that these have been noted in the industry and perhaps the impact we have made in this area will be our most important legacy. Our belief in the importance of this is undiminished. Conversations are ongoing as to whether there’s a new future for MARK or our design collection but for now, thank you to all those we have worked with in whatever way – it’s with great sadness that we could not carry it forward in these challenging time to the future. Who was the brave soul who first took a sofa out of the executive office and democratised it's use for everyone? Sofa settings are now ubiquitous with defining space in the office for collaboration, creativity and community plus they give designers the perfect opportunity to define the personality of a space through an extensive selection of fabrics and finishes. Explore our soft seating ranges including Fold as featured with its signature fabric detail. https://lnkd.in/eMZ2e74s The eponymous fold detail was developed by draping and pinning fabric much like a fashion designer working on a toile. With a continental feel, this sofa is constructed with a distinct emphasis on comfort. Perfect for collaborative conversations! #workplacedesign #officeinteriors #officefurniture #sustainabledesign #bcorp

Do you connect soft seating specification with social value? This topic was our key takeaway from 'In the Making' at Material Matters last week. Although social value can't be as neatly packaged as a carbon footprint, there are tangible benefits to making choices where social value is an output. If you'd like to explore this subject in more detail then drop into our Clerkenwell showroom to learn more about how social value is a key component in the specification of our Studioscape range. #socialenterprise #bcorp #sustainablechoices #yourchoicesmatter #workplacedesign #officeinteriors #interiordesign product featured: Studioscape Lounge & Studioscape Meeting project shots thanks to: https://lnkd.in/efJrciq3 Interaction Ltd | B Corp™ and Manalo & White

Material Matters design fair continues today and will also be open this Saturday 21st; find us at Bargehouse, Oxo Tower. 10am - 6pm. MARK x Bisley Furniture join a host of leading design brands in Room 12 / Floor 3 for 'In the Making' - an exhibition curated by tp bennett & The Furniture Practice. Together with Bisley we explore the social aspect of the circular economy – how good jobs and skills along with building strong manufacturing and creative communities are essential for a sustainable future. As a whole the exhibit explores the idea that to make a product sustainable you have to look at more than the materials content alone. TP Bennett challenge visitors to consider how we can change our approach to design and specification to create a more balanced understanding. Alongside us you'll find the likes of Normann Copenhagen, Arper, SURU, Modus | B Corp™, Camira, Fredericia Furniture and more so there's heaps of stories to explore. Don't forget to register for entry: https://lnkd.in/gewnhfVg #workplacedesign #sustainablefurniture #interiordesign #officefurniture #bcorp

Great to be celebrating our team of makers as part of Material Matters during this week's London Design Festival. Join us at Bargehouse this week to explore 'In the Making' - an exhibition that ventures beyond materials in the production of furniture.
Material Matters set up is underway and it's time to share the human stories that are behind our products. Product specification often focuses on materials but from day one of establishing MARK Product | Certified B Corp - who - was making our product was given equal importance. This weeks exhibition at Material Matters gives us a unique opportunity to dive deep in to the personal stories of our makers and explore the impact our choices make on a community. Join us this Wednesday 18th @ 2pm in Room 12, Floor 3 where I'll be exploring this topic with William Knight, Bisley Furniture and John Miller, MARK Product | Certified B Corp. #britishmade #sustainablechoices #materialmatters #ldf #ldf2024 #contractfurniture
