Ready, Steady, Cook! 🧑🍳 We are excited to be a part of this fantastic event in support of our local Arden Foodbank Steve has the difficult task of being on the judging panel to sample the dishes created by some of our local pub chefs from a typical food bank parcel. The winner will be announced on Friday 23 August! The Arden Foodbank is open every Tuesday from 2-3.30pm at the Studley Methodist Church. Donation points for the food bank are in both Studley Co-op and Aldi.

Steve joined fellow members of Studley in Business recently for their August meeting which was hosted at Wootton Park. The group were treated to a full tour to show off everything Wootton Park has to offer (which is a lot!). It offers an amazing venue for weddings celebrations, wellness retreats, glamping pods, water sports and even co working space! Whilst we are certainly enjoying all of the action at the Paris 2024 Olympics, we can’t help but be intrigued by the scale of the design and architecture behind the venues hosting the many sports across the games. In an effort to make the games as sustainable as possible, many existing venues have been repurposed, while several others are temporary structures. Some highlights include the temporary Beach Volleyball Stadium built on the Champ de Mars beneath the Eiffel Tower, and La Défense Arena which is usually a venue for rugby but is currently home to a temporary pool and the site of the Olympic swimming events!
