  • SDMP 2024 Mid-Year Assessment: Building Stronger Mining Communities!  On July 17-18, 2024, the Runruno Gold Project (RGP) held its two-day mid-year assessment of the 2024 Social Development and Management Program at Saber Inn, Bayombong, Nueva Vizcaya. The event was a powerhouse of knowledge-sharing and learning for our mining communities! The assessment identified milestones and achievements, as well as the struggles and challenges experienced in the implementation of programs, projects, and activities (PPAs).  General recommendations, including corrective actions to guide necessary adjustments, revisions, or amendments for the second semester SDMP implementation were provided by members of the SDMP Technical Working Group (TWG), led by Ms. Eva Doniego of the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA)-Nueva Vizcaya, Father Ike Tiongson representing the Multi-Partite Monitoring Team (MMT), representatives from MGB Region 02 headed by Mr. Demetrio Corsino, and members of the FCF-Community Relations Office (CRO). The first day of assessment focused on the Development of Mining Technology and Geosciences (DMTG) program, including a joint evaluation of neighboring barangays and their Community-based Organizations (CBOs) from the municipality of Quezon, Diffun, and Kasibu. The second day included assessments of the host community, Barangay Runruno, along with the Federation of Runruno CBOs and Business Groups. This was followed by an evaluation of the Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) program. The CRO attributes the success of its SDMP implementation to its strong partnerships with mining communities, local organizations, and government and non-government organizations through the TWG and MMT.   The activity concluded with recognition of all the company’s partners for their hard work, dedication, and commitment in building stronger and more resilient mining communities. Together, we're making a real difference!  #SDMP2024 #RunrunoGoldProject #CommunityDevelopment #MiningForProgress

Continuing the Celebration of Philippine Environment Month: COLOR ME Plog Run Year 4!    Early morning on June 19, 2024, FCF Minerals Corporation’s Mine Environmental and Protection Office (MEPEO) team organized the COLOR ME Plog Run Year 4, adding a vibrant twist to the month-long celebration of the Philippine Environment Month.    The Plog Run kicked-off at the Runruno New Barangay Hall with 94 individual participants. Around 35 residents of Runruno headed by the barangay officials and the Sangguniang Kabataan, along with 78 FCF employees and contractors eagerly accepted the 2.2 kilometers plogging challenge. This resulted in the collection of 387.50 kg of residual and recyclable waste along the streets of Sitio Dipilipig to Sitio Compound.     The event was more than just a run: it aimed to foster environmental awareness and strengthen collaboration between FCF employees and the host community. Plogging, which combines jogging or running while picking up litter, serves as an eco-friendly exercise that not only promotes physical health but also helps restore the cleanliness of the environment.     Four of the ten teams received monetary prizes for collecting the most waste challenge.      The company extend its heartfelt gratitude to everyone who joined in this meaningful activity. Your participation and commitment are vital in our ongoing efforts to protect and enhance our environment.    #PhilippineEnvironmentMonth #PlogRun #FCFMinerals #MEPEO #CommunityEngagement #EcoFriendly #RunrunoCares #CleanAndGreen
