Wow, what a night! 🤩 Last Thursday, we brought together our #GoodAndProperPartners, friends and colleagues for the return of The Proper Shake Up. Hosted at the beautiful Ozone Coffee Shoreditch site, the aim of this tea cocktail competition was to showcase JUST how exciting tea can be and boy, oh boy, our competitors didn’t disappoint. The talent on display was something else! Honoured to be invited to be a judge for Good & Proper Tea | B Corp™ cocktail ‘Proper Shake Up’ alongside: The mastermind behind the competition and founder of Good & Proper Tea | B Corp™ Emilie Holmes Sam Paget Steavenson founder of multi-award winning Botivo Drinks | B corp Deano Montcrieffe founder of London’s first Agaveria Hacha and the exceptional Mirror Margarita The annual event brings together baristas, bartenders and enthusiastic amateurs across the hospitality industry to compete to be the Tea Cocktail champion. The contestants are challenged to blend traditional tea flavours with various spirits, syrups, and garnishes to create innovative drinks that showcase both taste and presentation. We evaluated the cocktails based on creativity, balance, visual appeal, taste and of course championing tea. The entries were innovative, well-executed and simply delicious showcasing the versatility and beauty of tea. Congratulations to Tereza from Jolene for ‘Drama Queen’ 🌹.

Kicking off London Cocktail Week in style last week with a special Champagne Mirror Margarita Supper at Hacha Dalston with Moët & Chandon & Volcan Tequila ✨ We were joined by some gorgeous guests, enjoyed some incredible food and of course, the Champagne Mirror Margaritas were flowing all night long!
