Havebury Housing Partnership has taken a big step toward reducing energy costs and carbon emissions for its residents by partnering with Mixergy. By modernising their hot water systems, residents have seen up to a 73% reduction in oil consumption. Mixergy’s technology integrates with existing setups like solar PV and oil boilers. The hot water cylinder features an embedded solar diverter that stores excess solar energy, effectively turning the cylinder into a battery, while also supporting the oil boiler to ensure consistent hot water availability.
