About us
The Food Bank relies entirely on donations of food and money from local schools, churches, businesses, organisations and individuals and every single item or penny given makes a difference. Businesses, Churches and Community Groups can all get involved helping The Food Bank in a variety of ways. Our warehouse and serving centres are manned by volunteers from the local area. We are based at 9 Hollin Lane, Milton Keynes, United Kingdom. How Does The Food Bank Work? Referral Agencies identify families and individuals who need our support and issue a voucher entitling them to a food parcel. Food parcels can be picked up from one of our serving sessions located around the city. Clients can receive a food parcel 6 times within a rolling 12 month period.

Last week, some of the Smith Jenkins team took part in the MK Can Quest, an exciting fundraising event by the MK Food Bank! We joined other local businesses to support this great cause, tackling physical and mental challenges along the 7.6km route in Campbell Park. It was a fantastic way to team up, have fun, and help gather essential food supplies for the winter shortfall. Huge thanks to the organisers MK Food Bank for such a rewarding experience! Our particular highlight was the race where everyone was dressed as a can. This time last year we were taking part in the successful Guinness World Records attempt for the longest continuous line of cans in aid of MK Food Bank… Last week, we returned to where the record was set to take part in MK Can Quest! We had a great time participating in challenges throughout the day, with the aim of raising awareness and vital funds for MK Food Bank, all whilst dressed in our hard hats and high vis vests! After a busy morning running around Campbell Park answering trivia questions about the history of Milton Keynes and racing down a hill in a life-size can, we spent the afternoon enjoying pizza and drinks whilst networking at Midsummer Tap with the other teams from the day. A huge thank you to MK Food Bank for organising such a fun event, we're looking forward to seeing what's in store for next year! #TogetherWeCan #MKCanQuest #MiltonKeynes

A fantastic day out at MK Can Quest with the team from our MK office at Technip Energies. Over 50 teams participated, raising thousands of pounds for the MK Food Bank. Well done to all the team involved Saifullah Nasrullah Marc Standish Haseeb Tahir Sai Ganesh Stephen Cooke MIChemE CEng Kamran Yassaie Abdelrahman Abdelaal Aron Alagaraj and thank you to all the volunteers and MK Food Bank for setting it up.
