Moghamra مغامرة reposted this
One of the best episodes I've seen of the Moghamra مغامرة podcast featured a story that stood out from the usual ones, keep up the great work Mohamed Refai. Ameer Sherif, in particular, is one of the most influential entrepreneurs in Egypt. He has made a significant impact on the ecosystem, especially as part of building the first generation of Product Managers at WUZZUF. Many former Wuzzuf team members now lead and promote best practices in product management. I truly appreciate his efforts and his overall supportiveness.
In this episode, we interview one of the most experienced entrepreneurs in the MENA region Ameer Sherif. Ameer is the Founder and Chairman of BasharSoft the company behind WUZZUF and Forasna two of Egypt’s leading online recruitment platforms. WUZZUF primarily serves white-collar professionals, while Forasna focuses on blue-collar recruitment. He's also a Venture Partner with Khwarizmi Ventures, a VC fund in Saudi Arabia investing across the MENA region. We are also incredibly proud to announce that WUZZUF and Forasna have joined as the newest sponsors of Moghamra. This episode is also sponsored by Nawy: The largest proptech in Africa. This is a very special episode for Moghamra. We host Mostafa El-Beltagy CEO & Co-Founder Nawy. Not only is Nawy the largest proptech in Africa, but it’s also Moghamra’s first sponsor! A year ago, we had interviewed Abdel-Azim Osman Co-Founder & CMO/CPO Nawy and he still stands as one if the most impressive people we’ve had on the podcast. In the past year, Nawy has seen remarkable growth under the leadership of Mostafa and the team. Before Nawy, Mostafa spent over 12 years in Vodafone, managing the company’s $2 billion prepaid card business in South Africa, commercial operations across Europe and heading the consumer business in Romania. In parallel, Mostafa co-founded two start-ups and sat on the board of several others. Special thanks to Abdel-Azim Osman, Hania Shaker and Nasser Mouti for the constant support.
