Our expert team of nutritionists are especially busy at this time of year as they help our farmers navigate turnout. We caught up with our Nutritionist and Technical Projects Manager, Kerensa Hawkey, PhD, while she was out on farm to find out how the new Dairymaster G compound range can support cows at grazing. For more information and advice on getting the best out of your livestock at turnout, call 01278 444829.

It’s #InternationalWomensDay and we’re proud to celebrate all the incredible, dedicated and knowledgeable women across our business. We’ve caught up with some of our female colleagues to hear what it means to them working at Mole Valley Farmers. 🚛 Danni Cleeton – HGV Driver "Being a female driver in a very male dominated role, I feel has been very rewarding and I'm very lucky to have gained the knowledge and experience that I've got because of all the amazing people I've worked with over the years. I've had a lot of people interested in why I decided to become a truck driver, and I enjoy my story and passion for the work. It's amazing to see more women drivers coming into the industry, and I hope to see many more in the future." 🐄 Liz Haines – Non-Executive Director "I'm proud to be part of a business where women play an important role across the organisation - from young women starting their careers to those who have given many years service in our stores, yards, offices and out on farms. I also think it's vital that women are represented on boards and in positions of leadership in our industry. The Mole Valley board is made up of a diverse group of farmers from different geographical areas and farming sectors, and I'm delighted to be able to add my perspective as a younger female new entrant to farming." 💼 Sarah Wells – Head of Strategic Projects "At Mole Valley, the business works to promote impartiality, and I feel honoured to work amongst some brilliant female leaders in our business. IWD is a chance to reflect, appreciate all that has been done and celebrate the empowered and diverse workforce that makes up our business." 💚 Emma Shapland – Head of HR "Having worked at Mole Valley Farmers for many years, I've had the fortune to work alongside some truly amazing female colleagues. Their strength, innovation, and resilience in their roles continue to inspire me every day." #MoleValleyFarmers #itsinournature #femalecolleagues #IWD2025

Over the last few months, colleagues from our Nutrition, Trading and Agronomy teams have followed a comprehensive sales and resilience training programme. Working with Lammore Training, the team went through the Single Sales Principle, giving them the skills, structure and platform for success to support their daily roles. Plus, with resilience essential in today’s fast paced business environment, Don Armand from Sampson Armand Limited, delivered an insightful workshop focusing on resilience and high performance. A big thank you to everyone involved, and we now look forward to putting these new skills into action. #MoleValleyFarmers #itsinournature #agriculture #learninganddevelopment #training
