We were recently asked to attend a newly constructed garden, designed by Melissa Morton MAPL. After the construction work the garden has been suffering from waterlogging. Following our treatment, the newly planted mix of perennials, shrubs and herbaceous should flourish. We are hoping to post pictures in the near future as the garden establishes. About us
Mondo Verde specialise in soil improvement using the revolutionary Geo-injector. We inject compressed air up to 1 metre into the ground. The compressed air breaks the compaction within the sub soil and creates voids and cracks in the soil. These voids are then filled with a long-lasting drainage material creating lots of small soakaways that are all linked together. During this process a soil improver may be added in the form of enriched biochar. Biochar has several benifits, including, providing improved drainage, nutrient retention, aeration and improved soil structure. The stable nature of Biochar means one application remains effective for many, many years.

Here is a before and after from a plot we recently carried out for Miller Homes West. The back garden had been flooded for many weeks. Today we were tasked with helping to save a lime tree in Aberdeen. The home owner had recently had a car park installed which damaged the root system of the lime. Under the instruction of Aberdeen City Council we were asked to decopmact around 200m2 of soil around the base of the tree as well as injecting 200kg of enriched Biochar from #carbongold If you have a tree that has had the root protection area damaged please get in touch to see how we can help the tree to recover.

We were recently asked to attend a site for Miller Homes. There was a couple of issues on the POS due to waterlogging. There was water settling on paths which had the potential to freeze and there was also flooding on gardens at the bottom of the hill. We spent 5 days treating around 1000m2 to help alleviate the flooded gardens and also significantly reduce the amount of water on the paths.
