  • From sundown this evening to Saturday evening, Jewish people around the world will be commemorating the festival of Yom Kippur – meaning ‘Day of Atonement’. Yom Kippur is the holiest day in the Jewish calendar and is the culmination of the 10 Days of Repentance between the Rosh Hoshanah and Yom Kippur.    Yom Kippur is observed typically through fasting, which lasts for 25 hours. This includes both food and drink and consists of intensive prayer as well as confessions of one’s sins. On Rosh Hoshanah, 10 days earlier, the Book of Judgement is opened for God to determine whether one will be inscribed in the Book of Life for the forthcoming year and at the close of Yom Kippur this judgement is sealed.    It is a period of great solemnity for all Jews, used to atone for misdeeds and become cleansed and purified for the following year.    We wish all who are commemorating Yom Kippur a safe and easy fast.

  • Last week, we brought together over 40 attendees for our 💥 Powering Progress: Women in Energy Event 💥. Industry leaders shared their insights and experiences on the transformative potential of diversity with our panel featuring: Alina Bakhareva, Smart Energy Code Company Pete Davies, Retail Energy Code Company Juliette Sanders a.k.a. Killah Jules, Energy UK Louise Dickinson, British Gas The event was more than just a panel; it provided a safe space to empower and create solidarity among women and their allies in the industry.
