MPMH Construction Limited

We recently completed a spectacular £700k Cat A office fit-out in Bristol. This our second office fit-out for this client, which operates in a high-security industry and so must remain confidential. We fully designed the works under a design & build contract. Our scope over two floors included downtakings; new walls, ceilings, floor coverings, and internal and external doors; M&E including fire stopping and a HCAV system; a new kitchenette; roller blinds; and external works including concrete ramps and a bicycle shelter. Both MPMH and our client are market leaders in sustainability and we delivered the project as ‘green’ as possible. This including awarding major subcontract packages to five SMEs within 10 miles of the site, including the supply and installation of all floor coverings and the roller blinds. We replaced the fluorescent lighting panels with energy-efficient LEDs that will save 40,086kg of carbon per year – an amount that would take 2,672 trees to remove from the atmosphere. Our team was led by Chris Forrest MCIOB MAPM CertIOSH AaPS who worked closely with architects c2:concepts MPMH is proudly based in Scotland but we deliver projects all over the UK, including remote locations like the highlands and islands. Office fit outs and refurbishments are one of our specialities, along with healthcare and higher education.  

As it happens we didn't win the tournament, but the real victory is the friends we made along the way. (Follow us for more things loser say)

Two of our brilliant apprentices, Jay and Daniel, will be completing their apprenticeships this year and becoming qualified joiners. Welcome to the team, Abbi!

MPMH's offices and sites are now open after the festive break. We hope you all had a brilliant Christmas and Hogmanay, and we can't wait to deliver an even bigger and more diverse portfolio of projects in 2025.

MPMH must have been very good this year, because we were honoured with a visit by Father Christmas himself! Mr Claus arrived just in time to deliver our Secret Santa presents. Unfortunately Stephen Keenan missed out as he was unexpectedly called out of this office about five minutes before Father Christmas arrived. A very sad coincidence.
